The Sengoku Era! During this time Japan was in constant civil war. Fierce warlords fought for control of the land as the common folk suffered and died in droves. Some men never made it past the first battle, others became legends of the battlefield. Though, no matter how great the samurai, in the end death would come for them all. On the verge of death, does a person's spirit really leave this world? what of their will, their passion, their energy? Where does that energy go? Possibly into something such as a weapon or close item to them? What if the soul was gone but the will and ambition remained? These special heirlooms have been labeled as “relics”, and those that carry them as “Scions”.
