Yawning a little, Suishoku walked along the white stone shore line with her head turned to the port and its waters across the bridge. Ahead of her in the distance, several tall buildings and a Ferris wheel can be seen. It must provide some great views, she mused, but taking a ride in the giant wheel can come later. What she wanted to do most was come near the waters and look out at the port across the way. It has been a little over a month since the attack and the port security has tightened since then along with the clean up done professionally well. Yet, business did slow a little by the caution of sailing the one peaceful waters with speculations of a pirate attack as before but business continued all the same.
Stopping a moment, the girl touched the metallic clover hair piece on her head and simply stood there and watched the waves with far off and melancholy look in her eyes. With her was her school bag and just her uniform and nothing more. School ended but she didn't feel like coming back to the house just yet. There were things she wanted to think about and honestly, even with the progress made with Akarui and Onmyoujin-san, she wasn't confident in talking about what continued to stay rooted in her mind. Why did those ninja attack? Who did they work for? Heck, why were they picked to be escorting the Saio around that night? If the school wanted to select guards, why didn't they pick ones based on their skills and results! Even after all that, she never got a chance to ask the Saio to maybe make the seal on her little charm pouch to maybe be stronger in her paranoid worrying that the current seal would one day fade out and no longer work anymore.
Setting her bag down, she walked a little closer to the waters edge and squatted to gather some rocks to throw out into the water. Seemed like a natural thing to do honestly but it was the least of anything to do while there was still daylight. The rocks skipped and plopped heavily into the water but never any more than five hops in her lazy throws. It only served as a mindless reprieve to her self wondering on that night of total confusion. The port before her merely served to keep her frame of mind in place and for somewhere to be by herself in its stage. At one point, she thought of possibly investigating the explosions to know more of what happened but there was no way a student would be allowed anywhere near the port thanks to their damaged reputation of the school suppose to be training future servants of peace.
Running out of rocks to throw away, she squatted down once more with her hands on her knees. Off all her questioning, there was another question born from the end results of that night. Picking up a stone, she looked at it and rubbed her thumb against it's smooth sand blasted surface. What could she even do the next time there is an attack like that?

(Hope you don’t mind.)
Along the port side roads he sauntered, having no place to go and no place to be. He just wanted to be way from people right now, he needed time to think. The past few months had been hard on the boy, with all the consent battles, the political struggles and the ever shifting power were starting to take their toll. Leto was starting to question not only his decision to come to the academy but student’s role in general. For they were only kids but yet they were being treated as soldiers being sent off into frontline battles.
After a while of aimless wondering he noticed something on the rocks, a familiar silhouette. Hoki?! As he got closer he was able to confirm his suspicions, “Another lost soul drawn to the endless tide I see.” He wasn’t sure why he called out to her as he did. Nor did he know why he had walked all the way over to her, till he was stand right behind her. He said nothing else as he started off into the distance.

“Another lost soul drawn to the endless tide I see.”
She was occupied with her wonderings did the voice bring her back to the reality of the rolling waves before her and a stranger at her back. Looking at the rock in her hand, she turned it over again and again as if debating if she should throw it as well when there was nothing special about the rock at all.
"You could say that." In the end, she tossed it with a dull plunk. Whoever was behind her, as long as they didn't cause violence upon her, it could only be assumed they arrived with peaceful intentions. "The tides...don't seem very friendly. Wonder if that'll reflect what is to happen." The next rock she blindly picked up turned out to be a lopsided stone with some weight to it. Rolling it on the ground with her palm, she sighed and observed the tide's ebb and flow. The strange had detoured many of her thoughts with just a question of her future actions remaining. "Am I taking your spot?" There is plenty of shoreline for everyone so why stop behind her? Maybe it's just weird for a student to be this far out.

The tides...don't seem very friendly. Wonder if that'll reflect what is to happen.
It was apparent that the current events that had transpired here were bothering her. Then again it was still fresh in everyone’s mind so it made sense why it was bothering her, and not just her either many people has a big dose of reality that day. The question was how would they proceed hence forth.
Am I taking your spot? “No, however it is a rather nice spot I’ll have to remember it for next time.” The sounds of the waves breaking upon the rocks flowed over him, slightly calming his mind.
“The world is full of strange and beautiful things, the tides being one. On a sandy beach they are a peaceful pulse, however on the rocks they are a violent force crashing and breaking” Slowly walking around Hoki until he was standing slight in front of her on her left, Leto let out a heavy sigh. “Just like the tides the future can be both peaceful and predictable or uncertain and violent. The question isn’t which will happen but how we respond to it.”

"I see." Holds onto the rock and looks out at the waters, being reminded of how the view indeed depicted a relaxing view of modern and nature. Even the attacked port had a humble appearance to it of it's daily life collecting itself together. Watching the scene, her eyes eventually lowered to the tide before her as he kept talking on about waves and rocks hitting each other for some logic analogy. It wasn't a bad one so at least he didn't say something cheesy.
Turning her head a little as the strange came into view, she blinked in mild surprise and confusion. Leto?! Surprise that it's rare to really see him at all and confusion of why he is out here near the port at all. Her eyes then softened a little as she turned her eyes to the water, feeling uncomfortable with her performance worries around someone who actually did do something during the attack. "The future feels...foreboding of something. We may be addressed as 'cadets' even." She too sighed along with him, rolling the rock in her hand to see it cross only seven inches before it was knocked down by the waves.

Everything was just going so well until things started to take a twist. That is when things started to become horrible. Kamui was in a tight of a problem until things actually escalated from a typical normal punishment to getting attacked out of nowhere by some terrorists - as Kamui called them - then having to fall down into the waters. Man, what did he do to deserve this? Heck, he was piss enough as it is. Not only that, he also had to run into one of the people that he did not want to see the most. However, on the other hand, the situation at the moment made Kamui felt like he had not experienced yet – in a long time.
”I can’t believe we’d be attacked like out of the blue…” muttered Kamui as he unpleasantly paddled with his hands and legs to the shoreline. And long behold, there seems to be people that he had run into. As he got closer, he waved a hand for help. A funny feeling though, he was asking for help after such a long time in which he had not done so.

“Unfortunately that is simple a fate we can’t escape.” It was true, for once they had been classified as descendent by the government that was a fate they could not escape. The others may not know it but they only way to for them was death, for they were not seen as people but as weapons and what do you do with a broken weapon or one that refuses to cooperate. It was grim indeed.
“All we can do is make the best of with what and who we got…” His thoughts trailed on as he about his own circumstances, complicated as they were it could always be worse. At least this moment was peaceful among the abiding chaos, as he started off into the distance he noticed something. “I believe that seal is trying to get our attention.”

Suishoku nodded then sulked as the only thing the two of them did was reconfirm the troubling reality and all the things she wanted to run away from in her first year. To think her second year would be more optimistic but there was no escaping it, just waiting till the time finally drew near. With herself, she also started to feel rather silly. Keeping her item sealed, trying to pass off as though she never actually had it and she was just a student but who was she fooling? Only herself. Difference being that she didn't go around showing it to other people but that's really the only thing. If you're not a happy and serious cadet and would rather run away from it, you have an item. I was stupid in trying to hide myself from what is there.
“I believe that seal is trying to get our attention.”
"Seal?" She looked up at him, confused and finding the statement so out of place of the brooding atmosphere. "What sort of seal tries to get attention?" Looking back out at the waters, she strained her eyes a little and started to look worried once she realized that was a human arm than a seal flipper. "I think it's asking for help." Seeing the distance wasn't that far, she got up and kicked off her shoes before going in the water toward the ailing seal.
It took her a few minutes to swim out and greet him, not exactly Olympic gold in freestyle, but all the same, it's going to get dark soon. As she swam up to the seal's side, it turned out to be a man. "K-K-Kamui!? Kamui's the seal!?" She coughed, getting salt water in her mouth as she took his arm and kicked her legs in short bursts to get them back to the shore faster. Even while taking him back to shore, she still had to ask the most human and obvious of questions. "What are you doing out here? Fishing?" Sure he's crazy to attack civilians but to be out in the port waters but geez, first Leto and now dragging Kamui. Is this spot on the shore meant to attract strange things?!

MY GODDESS! A GODDESS HAS COME TO SAVE ME WHILE CARRYING Me IN HER ARMS! THANK YOU GOD, IF YOU EXIST, I FEEL THAT I CAN DIE WITH HAPPINESS! While Kamui was lost in thought, it was not too surprised that he didn't notice they have reached the shoreline. That was of course until he came back to his senses that a side of him really hurt so bad. Such a thing that Kamui did not expect to have gotten himself injured. "I..." said Kamui as he stopped to pause and catch his breath. Apparently, he was also trying to be a hero back to where the situation had occurred but it was something he did not expect until he was the one that was being saved! ... "Leto Weiss?" said Akarui standing behind him a few inches away while drenched from head to toe. Apparently, she also had run into the same trouble and had fell into the waters. Luckily, while not a swimmer, she had fallen onto shallow ground that was not too high above her head so she had the chance to get herself out quickly. However, it was not in her plan to have run into not just Leto Weiss, Shuishoku Yuubae, and Kamui Sakamoto. She had anticipated to had gotten her life towards the edge of death but it seemed that today had been a fate or something that had prevented that.

Its turning into one of those days.
Most people would find it strange when people just randomly show up in the oddest of places, however Leto wasn’t one of those people. For he had come to the conclusion that they all shared a common fate and as such were naturally drawn to each other. “What an interesting day, first I find Hoki on the lonely stretch. Now we are joined be a seal and a undine.” He had to admit even though he knew the two newcomers were descendent he wasn’t quite sure if he had met them personally. It was hard for him to keep track since part of his ‘job’ with the professor was to organize and categorize the on all the decedents. And there was some rather personal stuff in those documents.
“If you don’t dry yourself off Ariel you’re goanna get yourself sick. Same goes for you Lucille.” It was true that Leto was curious as to why the part had decided to take a swim in the bloody ocean but then again that was their business.

Fine. Ignore me but man, he's oddly dead weight. Almost got scared he's try to drown me. Dragging Kamui back to shore, she walked them both to the shallows and to dry shore a little bit away from the waves. Huffing a little, she looked sighed at Leto's comments. "I know that, Leto. Maybe I should'ave left his body float back to shore," Suishoku sighed and began wring out most of the water from her uniform and hair. Could use a sick day though. Haven't had one in a long time. And where did Aerial and Lucille come from? Thought I was 'Hoki'. Heading to her bag, she opened it up and threw in her hair clip while searching around its contents for a towel. It wasn't a large towel but it was dry and hasn't been in any use for awhile.
Shaking off what water she could, it took Suishoku the whole time to finally notice Akarui was there behind Leto. "How...long have you been there, Aka-chan? She asked stunned but kept her motor skills running, bending down slowly to get her shoes to leave by her bag. While Kamui was recovering his strength, she rubbed her head a little with the towel before throwing it on his head and rubbing his hair as if scrubbed away a stubborn stain. "And you, you got an answer? Don't tell me you really were fishing out there."

And you, you got an answer? Don't tell me you really were fishing out there.""No, got attacked by some people," replied Kamui as he once again tried to catch his breath. However, he was so focused on regaining his self conscious that he was about to start drifting in out and out until he felt something on his head. Not only that, he could of sworn he heard another person present. Although, he was not sure who it was. But what did come to him was the pain in his right side of his stomache. Strange, he did avoid what damage could have got to him but it still struck him. ... “If you don’t dry yourself off Ariel you’re goanna get yourself sick. Same goes for you Lucille.”"I had no idea the professor's assistant was such a nickname caller. Anyway, Suishoku mind healing Kamui's right side of his stomache? He got hit pretty hard there," states Akarui as she stood where she was. While looking out onto the waters, she mumbled words as to why such a thing just had to happened. Not only did it end up with her nearly drowning but now she was gathered up somehow with these people. Just what is going on around here? Was the "thread of fate" working its magic again or something? Who knows but from what Akarui can understand is that today might just have been her lucky day. She had come across Leto Weiss who she has not even met in person yet, until today of course. Though, it was nothing big to be awed about it was more of a why and how it happened.

I had no idea the professor's assistant was such a nickname caller.
“Your right, you have no idea.” Leto muttered, it wasn’t really a secret that he was the Professors, but it wasn’t widely known either since they usually kept from the public eye. He didn’t say anything but he had an uneasy feeling about the pair. Now it may have been what Lucille had said or Ariel, or it may have been under the circumstances under which they had meet and continued to progress.
“Hoki, Ariel, and Lucile. Yes it has been strange day, for us all to meet like this at this place.” He wasn’t really talking to anyone just musing into the wind out over the ocean. As he watched the approaching clouds a though occurred to him, well more like a memory. He remembered the professor telling him about what he called ‘the threads of fate’, a phenomenon to which artifacts would practically call out to each out. He wasn’t sure as to the exact reason, but he did muse that it worked along the lines of power beseats power.

"Heal?" Suishoku looked up at Akarui as she wrestled the towel to stay on Kamui's head as she dried him however much she could. Leaving the towel on his head, she reached into her own inner pocket of her uniform and took out her sacred item; a little sake cup. If one were looking toward her and Kamui, a heavy feeling would over come the viewer thanks to the cup's effects once out of it's seal. A feeling akin to a drunken haze; double vision, low depth perception, loss of balance and so on.
Raising up Kamui's shirt, she whistled quietly at how bad of a cut it looked after taking a good soak of that salt water. What cut him? Who knows. Rather than forcing Kamui to drink it, she focused her power to summon the golden liquid and poured it directly upon the wound. Open flesh wounds were easier to directly apply the liquid than going through the process of getting the patient to be alert enough to drink. Making sure every drop was absorbed into the fresh, the wound began to patch up the area and rejuvenate the rest of the body. Perhaps that would prevent him from fainting on the way back to their home to save the trouble of anyone carrying his sorry bum.
"That should just about do it. When you feel your senses have gotten together. you're good to go." She advised before taking out the charm pouch to drop her cup back inside, a disappointed look on her face of the paper charms and fortunes all soaked through. Closing up the little back, she took it a once over and sighed in relief of her other worry of the seals applied to it being undamaged.
Taking her towel off Kamui's ruffled up hair, she wringed it out with her attention drawn back to Leto once hearing her nickname given by him. "Got that right. How about we go home and have sukiyaki or meat and potatoes or rice porridge." She offered, assuming she was the one cooking the dinner as she flapped the towel to air it out a little. Meeting Kamui and Aka-chan just about makes today the weirdest.
“Looks like rain.”
"Eh? Great, it'll wash the salt out off our clothes," Suishoku grumbled in all sarcasm with Leto being the only one of the three of them dry. Rolling up and flicking it like a whip to try getting as much of the water out, she removed her socks to dry up her feet before putting her shoes back on to avoid walking barefoot the whole way. "Say Aka-chan. Were you and Kamui on a mission locally or something? What happened to you two?"

"Leto Weiss? LEON?! HE'S HERE?! THE MYSTERIOUS GUY WITH THE WHITE HAIR?! WHY IS HE HERE TOO?! AND MY NAME'S KAMUI NOT LUCILE! O-OUCH..." said Kamui as he was shouting. It was then he realized that Suishoku Yuubae was going to heal his wound. How come he did not realize it before?! Suishoku Yuubae was a healer type? Well ain't that a wonderful ring to his ears. However, with the sea slat to have soaken into the wound made it all the more painful. Heck, what was more painful was the healing process that Suishoku Yuubae was giving him. So in the end, he was more worried if he was going to live or die in the process - of course he would live. Although, the pain was something that he did not expect to experience. ... "Say Aka-chan. Were you and Kamui on a mission locally or something? What happened to you two?""No. Kamui got attacked and I just happened to be at the wrong place and wrong time," replied Akarui. Even she herself did not know what on earth was happening until Kamui took a real hit. That was when Akarui knew that things from here on out was not a joke. So from there to where they are now was such unexpected. Even more so, she got called "Aka-chan" in which she has not been called in a long time. As she heard "rain" escaped from Leto's lips she looked up and mumbled, "An omen has erupted."
