Emi was tired for many reasons. She was tired of school and the classes; somehow she had managed to survive the last two years. She was tired from staying up all last night, content with dosing off during class to make up for the lack of sleep. She was tired of the noise and it forced her to find a quiet little patch to lie down on her stomach on. Most importantly she was tired of the people. It exhausted her to no end when she had to interact with other people. It was especially bad since the day before was the beginning of school. She still remained silent and only gave her name out in class. She really should remember her place and make it clear that she was a third year but she didn’t think it truly mattered.
Today was a free day; it was nice to have the day off for some peace and quiet. While others would go hang out with their friends, Emi was content with staying on school grounds. Sure there were still dedicated students doing training today but she had wandered away from them. Even the sound of gunfire was faint from the spot she rested. There shouldn’t be much worry about others finding this spot unless they were just passing by for stealth practice.
“I’m hungry,” she stated rather plainly, her jaws elevating her head upwards as she spoke the few plain words. It took a bit of effort as she dug through the folds of her clothes to take out a bag of dried squid. She tottered a bit on her stomach before finally rolling onto her back. Her amber eyes glowed as it stared into the sky. It was a beautiful day, bright with a few spread of white fluffy clouds. It was definitely a great day to laze about.
She extended her arms upward and stared at the bag of dried squid. They were going to be salty but the sweetness was worth it. She liked the taste of this particular brand especially with the cute little squid pictures. Even though she was happy at the moment there was no change in her expression, the same lazy expression resting on her face. She found herself quickly fumbling through the folds of bag to drag out a piece of the meat and began to nibbling it. Rest was nice, especially with snacks and nobody to makes things a headache.

The sun shown down across the campus as Nobuyori walked through the outer areas of the campus. Nobu wasn't really the tallest of students, but his school outfit hung on broad shoulders. His face seemed flamboyantly pretty but also quite serious. This was made even more clear by his long, fake blond hair. He looked as though he came from a prominent family and had a massive chip on his shoulder because of it. As he walked his hands were at his sides, almost like a marching soldier. Around his body was the long blue robe with the golden seal of clan Azai on the back, as well as a very fancy looking naginata strapped around his back for combat
Nobuyori's eyes may have been looking forward, but his thoughts currently resided somewhere else. with the Saio coming to visit soon Nobu's thoughts circle around how weak of an Onmyodo he was befor the power of the Saio. In fact, how weak most onmyodo must seem before her. The Saio was directly linked to the royal family, as well as one of the strong mediums in the country. If she wanted to she could probably crush Nobu with summoning techniques in an instant.
As Nobu walked through the outer area of the school the usual sounds went through his ears. Birds chirping, rifles firing, even the canon range going off far in the distance. Nobu looked at the roof of the school, his usual hang out spot. In truth he would usually be their around this time of day, but instead decided that a nice walk around campus might be better exercise. On top of that he had been running into that ninja girl far too much lately.
Walking around he noticed a girl just hanging out on the campus like it was nothing. She was resting on her back eating what looked like some kind of chip snack. Nobu began walking towards her, planning on scolding a freshmen for being lazy before seeing the outline of the girl's outfit. In fact she was his senior. He had never seen such a lazy third year around the campus before. Walking over he said "Excuse me senpai, but aren't you missing a class in the upper part of the school building?"

Emi was happily munching on her snack, taking in the scenery but especially focusing on the taste. If she had her way she would become a gourmand for snacks! Unfortunately fate had other plans for the girl and she was making up for all the good times her older brother had given her. It actually left quite a bitter taste in her mouth when she went back to the thought. Thank goodness the dried squid helped sweeten and cover up the bitterness.
It was going quite well until another person approached. She didn’t flinch or react, thinking that whoever it was just happened to be passing by. As the steps got closer to her direction it began to become clear that she was the one being approached. At first she turned her body away from the source of the noise, trying to seem uninterested or about to sleep. This was when he called out.
She listened to the man’s voice but only his voice. The words seem to float above her head. All she can think of was how irritating it was to have her peace destroyed by company. It took her a moment to push out the annoyance and grab at the actual contents of his statement. Class? She went to all her classes when she needed to. Actually she had just finished her class and took the liberty to rest. It took her a second to turn over to face the young man. She didn’t bother getting up; there wasn’t any reason to stand anyways. He was already taller than her (a sort of intuition and assumption she had about all guys in high school) and even thinking about craning her head to meet his eyes seemed too bothersome. The most interesting thing though is the fact that he had properly stated her position. It had confused her at first; it was her first time being called a senpai. He was even polite but it didn’t matter to her much. She was impassive to her own titles.
“No, I finished already,” she stated quite curtly and staring at his shoes. Her face remained the same impassive expression. As she moved her blades pressed against her side reassuring her that she was still armed. It was funny; she can’t remember the last time her weapons left her side. Even that thought didn’t change the tired look on her face.

Nobuyori wasn't sure what to make of the senior in front of him. Despite the difference in class year Nobu couldn't help but feel he was superior to her. She was clearly lazy, sitting around sun bathing and eating what turned out to be squid chips. She didn't even look as though she had any weapons on hand. At first her back had been mostly turned to him, did she even notice him approaching?
After she turned to face him she just looked lazily at his shoes and told him that her classes were done for the day. The girl didn't even look sweaty or worked at all. Did the seniors just do classroom things all day? Nobuyori refused to accept that this is how a senior behaved. Coughing at her Nobu began to walk off. Closing his eyes in frustration he opened them again as he began to walk. He decided then and there that this would most assuredly not be the type of third year he would become in the future.
Though the question now was how much different were they really? This girl spend her time on the campus grounds lazily sleeping, while Nobu spend his time on the school roof doing the same thing. Did that make him just as bad as this senior? THIS WASN'T ACCEPTABLE! quickly pacing back to the senior Nobuyori looked at her with a look of contempt and said "How is it that a third year has time to simply sit around? Don't you have an advanced class to study for? A mission to attend to? If other students see a senior lying around lazily it will set a bad example for the student body as a whole."

Emi let out a sigh of relief when she saw the man walking away. Talking to him sure was a waste of her time and energy. Now that the disruption has left she can go back to munching on her snacks and lazing the day away. She almost said a thank you if not for the piece of squid snack she stuffed into her mouth. Perhaps the day wasn’t ruined.
It was not to be though, just when she was about to stuff another piece into her mouth she realized the steps coming again. Why did he have to come back? She had explained herself and as far she could tell her answer was satisfactory. It wasn’t like she lied to him; she began to doubt her own bluntness. Perhaps it was true that everybody who approaches her willingly has a secret agenda.
She listened to what the other student had to say. She might not be the best person in social situations but that hardly meant she was stupid. Dealing with people was troublesome and she didn’t want to go through the effort of learning to use them. Besides she lacked the charm needed. So she tried when she can whenever the needed calls for it. Even a dunce like her could hear a certain sting in his choice of words but overall it hardly affected her. She didn’t care what others think as long as she was left alone. Yet it was his last sentence. For some reason she found it funny, hilarious even! It was more of an inside joke for herself. She even cracked a very awkward smile; it has been far too long since she had such an expression on her face. She even touched her face to make sure everything was in place.
“People do not see me as a senior,” she stated plainly, her expression returning back to its impersonal nature.
“You are strange,” she continued giving her personal opinion of the young man. This was actually quite a rare occurrence. He did amuse her enough to get at least this much. Even with enough goading she would feel compelled to respond.

Akarui had finished all that she had to do and wanted some fresh air. And in doing so, she had gone out of the school grounds to enjoy that fresh air that the school doesn’t, in moderation, have. Since the tension in the school is always at odds with students arguing about something. With gossips here and there, even some idols that fan girls or fan boys are going lovey-dovey over. However, she wasn’t interested in that, after all, she had better stuff to do. That is of course when she’s supposedly is to be doing. Even the homework that she was almost done with, she took a break from. The hours of trying to find time for recreation, personally, wasn’t in the schedule of the school since that time was supposed to be used for studying. In which, she loathed. It was too much already and this recreation was her time and nothing to be dealt with school-related. Even club activities were something she didn’t want to think about for a bit. Since, well…it was a school thing.
Before Akarui knew it, she heard voices. To her surprise it was none other than the second year, Azai Nobuyori and third year, Emi Tokiwa. Ain’t she luckly, since she’s never seen them person. Well, not that she’d be willing to meet them in person now but hey anything could happen at this point to make that meeting possible. As Akarui reached into her bag for an onigiri, another one had slipped out. ”NOO!!” With her hands to her head, she freaked at was just happened the following events next. Now, she felt like she just jinxed herself because it was falling towards the second and third year students! Worst of all, it could hit but hopefully it doesn’t either. However, now they’ll notice her presence. Apparently, she had somehow gotten up to the top of a tree, which she had difficulty in doing.

Nobu looked at the girl, still annoyed. He would call her a girl and not a woman since she seemed even more lazy and immature than he was. Even her responses of "Nobody views me as a third year" and"you are strange." seemed like replies that a child would give. Grabbing his forehead with his hand and moving his hair around a bit to try and relax he said "Maybe the fact that you are sitting around eating chips is why. If you are a senior shouldn't you be trying to get people to take you more seriously?"
As he scoughed at the girl a lone object suddenly rolled towards them. It was at school so it probably wasn't anything dangerous. As Nobu looked at it he realized that it was apparently a rice ball. He didn't actually touch it with his hand but lightly touched it with his foot. It didn't seem to be anything dangerous, but why did it suddenly roll over to him and this girl?
Turning to the direction the rice ball most likely came from he yelled "Is anyone there? if you are hiding I'd prefer you come out!" he said annoyed. It wasn't that he was mad at whoever dropped the rice ball, but he was annoyed at the senior in front of him. Most likely it was probably a freshmen in a hurry to lunch. Though, it could also be the wind.
With that thought process Nobu began walking towards the tree. Most likely some shy freshmen was hiding behind it. Also, it was just nice to get away from that clearly annoying woman on the ground behind him. Even if he had made her made she hardly seemed like someone he had to worry about turning his back to.

Emi just rolled over back onto her back when the other young man began to speak again. She wasn't bothered by the other man's statement. What he said would be true for most people but it didn't apply to her ideals. She knew that what she was doing was considered lazy but that didn't mean she didn't work hard. She put in effort when it was worth it, more often than not people just happen to be worth little to nothing... Besides she had already given her life for her brother.
She was just about to filter out the presence of everyone else in the world before she noticed the onigiri. Emi was sharp, especially when it comes to her interests or when she needed to be. So when the onigiri rolled over onto the ground, her body didn't hesitate to move and pounce on it. She grabbed the rice ball and stuffed it into her face without hesitation. It almost seemed as though she breathed the piece of food in.
Glancing over at the source of the noise, she waved at whoever was so courteous as to drop a perfectly delicious piece of food her way. Realizing that she had technically taken food without permission, she immediately felt like she owed the person. After two waves of her arm, she lapped at her fingers regretting not taking her time to enjoy the taste. To be honest her expression was close to a sad kitten that almost seemed to beg for more... Actually the thought of more sounded quite nice as she looked towards the trees for another throw away of food.

”Just my luck,” thought Akarui as she was planning on to getting out of there like a ninja. Well, if only that was possible then of course she could’ve done that right then and there but she didn’t have the skill to do so, sadly. Next thing she knows is that 2nd year Nobuyori had shifted his focus upon her! Which was something that she didn’t want to happen since she would’ve liked to see how the situation between the two and wanted to watch. Then of course, leave later to go back to whatever she needed to do or finish.
At this point, when Nobuyori said that statement, Akarui sighed and pouted at what she had gotten herself into. So in the end, she had no choice at all but to go down. Furthermore, even Emi’s attitude became a dramatic change. In which was a surprised to Akarui as well. Even though she wanted to wave back, it didn’t matter because she was high above the tree and well blocked off by the leaves that crossed each other, almost like eliminating the light almost.
”Ah, ah, here we go then,” said Akarui to herself as she grabbed her bag and was readying to go down. ”Alright, alright, I’m coming down! Sheesh, such attitude…something must’ve happened with their conversation because does he sound like he was going to kill someone.” So, gripping to what she could on her way down, it reveals that she had used a vine to get up and is now using it to get back down to the ground. Much surprising, if one looked closely, the insides of the cove of the tree actually exhibits vines while on the outside it was just leaves. Which was why Akarui like this place because it felt like her haven almost to get away from everything and to just relax, being protected from the humanity of things and just flow into the spirituality of life.

Strolling through the wooded area, Suishoku Yuubae sought out this to be the only good time to really take in the nature and layout of the trees and plant life for her tracking class. While she could be up in the late hours reading field guide books, other classes have taken up the nightly hours at the moment. That and with it being dangerous to be out around campus after dorm curfew hours, the change of closed classroom scenery and getting a small heads up on what to expect out in their class field couldn't hurt. Now and then, her ears caught the off russle of leaves and gun powder ignitions in the distance but her eyes stayed more glued to what was eye level and at her feet. She heard about some students laying out harmless traps from the other class. Won't be much of a surprise to find a strange wire or wooden net ment for small animals and who wouldn't mind to fool around with their traps if a rabbit or some neighbor's cat happened to be caught in one? A human sized pitfall on the other hand, Suishoku swollowed nervously and beated her head for daring to think of that possibiliy.
Her walk took her from the back of the girl's dorm and should have made a wide circle back toward the main entry way of the school as planned save for a few distractions here and there. One moment she was curious on some shoe prints of other students and the next the girl would wander in the other direction to stare fondly at some natural growing spring flowers for the season. As she stooped neatly to admire what looked to be freshly grown white petals, the light expression on her face changed to one of intrigue by a man's, what appears to be, yell of frustation.
"Is anyone there? if you are hiding I'd prefer you come out!"
That's an odd thing to say and it didn't sound too far off either. Staring in the direction of the voice, the girl sighed and turned to brush under the little flower's leaf. A voice randomly calling out in the woods begs to be investigated while she could be around flowers any other time. "Till we meet again," she bid a gentle farewell and stood up for a straight course to the sound. Pushing through the bushes and hopping along tree roots and rocks, if the person that shouted wanted to know who is there then logically there wasn't a need to be hiding her presence. As she hopped and partly skipped her way through, Suishoku realized she hardly considered to be hiding her location at all during her little venture into the wood.
Like a rabbit, Suishoku jumped out from the brush after pushing herself away from a tree trunk with a few extra steps taken forward and finished with a brief look over her shoulder to check if anything was amiss with the greenery behind her to any leaves caught along her uniform. After giving herself a once over did her grey eyes took on the less dense area before her. Out of the two, atleast from where she stood, the only male she could identify in the area only made things both interesting and bewildering. "A sleepy one and...oh, Onmyouji-san? What's he doing to that tree?" Her answer arrived in just seconds after her question when another familiar student came down from the same tree by a vine. Suishoku's chin and eyes raised up to the tree as she advanced forward till the second year now stood on the other side of the tree with head still tilted upwards. "Now a girl lives up in that tree. So it's actually a jungel....up there after all....," she mused mildly in awe with her arms partly crossed and her chin resting upon her left knuckles.

As Nobuyori demanded the girl come down he heard a series of complaints from the trees as a human form slowly came down from the branches. Looking over to see if the lazy third year would give any reaction he waited for the girl in the trees to come down. Best he could tell she didn't have any direct reaction. So Nobu simply decided to focus on the girl in the tress instead.
Nobu adjusted his school uniform and robes a bit. He had never seen this girl before and had no intention of looking like a vagrant in front of her. Reaching behind his back he took the naginata off and readied it. He had no doubts that the person in front of him wasn't a threat, however, it still didn't hurt to be safe, in case he was wrong.
As the girl came down from the tress Nobuyori stared at her. She didn't seem to be an enemy, or to really be dangerous in any way. As Nobu blinked a few times looking at her he couldn't help but ask "Do you happen to be one of the ninja trainee students?" Nobu hadn't often see the ninja students, though that had kind of been the point of their existence. In truth he had seen a couple of the first year students who were trying to be ninja, but in truth of the actual ninja students this would be the first he had encountered. "Either way. You should be more careful." he said condescendingly. He didn't even seem to notice the other girl sneaking around in the trees.

Emi glanced around rather calmly, still regretting how quickly she devoured the food. Licking her fingers clean of all remnants of food, she hopped from her spot and glanced at the annoyance and food giver. She came down from the tree would mean she didn't need to bother crawling up the tree to thank her properly. Patting herself clean, she perked up as the young man drew his weapon.
She didn't think he will attack the food giver but she didn't like him and know him well enough. So in response, she quickly dashed between the two. Her hand rested on her blade and she was in position to quickly draw out her blade and slash at him if need be.
"Back off," she said rather plainly, her eyes still reflecting her tired and rather neutral standing. A side of her wondered if she could get more food if she sided with the food giver. It was rather easy to pick between the guy with bad behavior and the girl though. She had already taken a real liking to her.

Akarui was mounted to the surprise when she was pointed at with a sword! Just great, could the day get any better than it could already? Maybe or no maybe not but who knows anyway. From the looks of things, at least no one is going to get hurt as it is only just a misunderstanding. "I am," replied Akarui as she had her hands up as though she was like some criminal - though she wasn't. After that clearing, she putted down her hands and gave herself a sigh. Anything else could have gone worse and with just one slip, she would have been targeted at with the sword running through or at her.
Now, talking about a misunderstanding, this situation just had a total twist when the girl popped up and pointed her blade at the guy. Right, it had already became a misunderstanding turns of events. Akarui had no connections whatsoever to any of these two people - minus the other third party she was able to sense behind the trees. "Hold on, weapons away first, okay?" Says Akarui as she stepped back from the girl who came in front of her and stepped out of the bound between the two. Hopefully, at least they listen because if this turns into a fight, it's not her fault. "There's a misunderstanding here," she also added to make things a bit clear - if it helped anyway.

Rounding the tree, still surprised off the quality of the vines growing within the branches, her attention went back to Onmyoujin-san and the two other girls. Only this time did it seem all the more strange of his having his weapon out. Weapons away first, indeed! While Akarui looked to be taking things more cautiously and there being some hostility from the other one that got up to defend her, Saushoku sighed and walked over past the both of them.
"Ah, didn't expect to see you out here, Onmyoujin-san. Although, I don't think there aren't any demons here to purify," She started, remembering his little comment of running them through with his weapon. The girl still found it a bit silly as she stood about half of his weapon's length while it was still held defensively. Moving her hand over his blade, careful of the apparent sharpness while motioning for him to lower it, she smiled and laughed a bit to try keeping the mood light hearted despite what either of the two have on their minds. She did take a random detour from the forest to come this far and with Onmyoujin-san here, Suishoku felt fairly confident he wasn't going to do something that rash for their second meeting. "It's a bit much, don't you think?"

Nobu blinked a few times as the lazy third year readied her weapon to attack both Nobu, as well as the strange ninja girl that Nobu had encountered. Nobu really had no intentions of fighting the ninja trainee students, the third year, or his stalker. On top of that the fact that the third year seemed to be ready to attack him honestly seemed to offend him. As Suishoku appeard and ran her finger across the blade of Nobu's sacred naginata he was surprised that her finger didn't start bleeding. Suishoku had made a joke about Nobu's exorcism skill not being needed and that having his weapon out was a bit much.
"Who, are you exactly? Also, why had you been sneaking around so much? It is not as though we are against you, and as for you third year, should you really have your weapon ready in such a way?" Nobu actually hadn't been around any of the ninja students before. Not that any of the ninja students really made a habit of being around before. Looking at Suishou he asked "Are your classes doing alright so far? Also,do you know either of these two?" he asked Suishoku
