<> Basic <>
Character Name: Suishoku Yuubae, Shoku or Suisho for short.
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Birthday: November 2nd
Birthplace: Kanzawa, Ishikawa Prefecture
Faction: Neutral
Year: Second
School Clubs: Ceremony Club
Weapon: Bullwhip and a pistol loaded with rubber bullets.
<> Look <>
Hair: Long, thin, and sandal wood brown with some of it tied back to small pony tail while the rest hangs down past her shoulder blades.
Eyes: Tired but rounded, steel blue colored eyes
Build: Normal
Voice: Sarcastic and low key as if she's talking under her breath rather than direct.
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 115lbs.
Clothing/appearance: Stays to uniform code but causal clothes tend to have floral patterns etched on the shirt right down to the pants leg or pocket rims.
Inventory/accessories: Typically easy to notice for having clover flower and leaf styled hairpins decorating her hair. Standard wallet and phone applies but her phone isn't usually on her person and is often left in the dorm room.
~Self~
Personality: Because of how first impressions lead to several misunderstands, she'll sigh at their choices and follow suit to be the 'distant' and 'not all there' sort of person around classmates. Bearing a sleepy eyed expression, Suishoku is the hard working type in her own way to pull all nighters, sarcastic but never bitter unless she puts her foot down about her dislikes. While her manners may be curt or coming across as being rude in vocal tone, she really just wants to get along with everyone else and avoid any life threatening choices. She'd rather have someone else take over that responsibility. When it comes to fighting, she honestly wishes her opponent would fight someone else, never seeing herself as a worthy fighter even if she doesn't know her capabilities can ensure a win.
Likes: Good luck charms, hot soup, soft furry things that don't bite back.
Dislikes: Fang the ferret, reckless people, people who can't properly take care of themselves.
Ambitions/Goals: Living in the country side (like that's going to happen) or at least land a nice desk job that isn't located remotely or having her hidden in a bunker.
Habits/Mannerisms: Sarcastic in her vocal tone by default, sighing, and having to correct herself often to get her words across. Rubs her eyes a lot when bored, not tired.
Strengths: Observing others, something she thought to might as well do when beyond arm reach of other students.
Dedication: Those all nighter work don't finish themselves before dawn ya know.
Mother figure: Even while it may seem like she isn't going to have the easier of times making friends, she will speak up to be almost the voice of one. It may be a round about way so that they won't constantly be a bother in the future but her feelings are genuine in the caring department.
Weaknesses:
Food: A tasty morsel is enough to distract her or get her to calm down. Mostly due to neglecting to eat or having to skip meals till dinner when other things are on her mind.
Miscommunication: The moment something does not make any sense to her, her guard is easily dropped to spend it correcting herself or someone else to find a means of understanding. There is a time and place for everything and that saying has yet to apply to her.
Moderate Reflexes: Her reflexes are fine but they are sub par to barely passing normal standards. For that, her defense isn't the greatest for sneak attacks unless given warnings ahead of time. Even then, that would only raise her chances of a successful evasion or guard enough to avoid major damage.

Sacred Item: A sake drinking cup
Activate Ability 1: Heals wounds upon consumption but doesn't fully patch life threatening ones.
Activate Ability 2: The sake cup refills itself with a healing liquid that is good for one full drink. It boosts strength and evasion but wears out over a span of 3 posts. First post is 100% full buff, second is 75%, third is 50% before fading.
Active Ability 2.5: With a desire to support members out of her immediate range, this in turn is reflected from within her chalice. The normally golden color that pools in the cup full ripples once where the gold vanishes, leaving the contents clear as though like water. Instead of drinking it, this tonic is thrown out before her to the ground. The contents immediately get absorbed into the environment, causing a rapid growth of either dandelions (for urban locations) or shiitake mushrooms to pop up typically close to the unit's legs and burst soon after. Their white seeds/mushroom spores will attach themselves to the ally after combustion, the concentration of the seeds/spores in extension to the cup's healing properties embed a healing over time of 25% of the unit's total health over a span of 4 posts at the end of the unit's acting post. On the 4th post there will be a final burst of health regain before the effect completely wears off. Max number of units this can be applied to at once upon activation is 4.
Activate Ability 3: The sake cup fills with a golden liquid this time when held. When the liquid is poured over a weapon, it gains a blessing to reinforced and strengthen its abilities. When pours over a body, the muscles are refined and strengthened instead for 5 posts. Drinking this is prohibited as while the buffs do apply and fully heals, there is a four post penalty of all senses shutting down temporarily, awaking on the 5th post in exchange for the 5 posts of power.
Passive 1: Makes the air seem slow and dream like when focused on her like a drunken haze, making the sense of sight hardly reliable if she is of target attention. The more intense focus is one her, the harder it is to see her from the defensive haze. If she drops out of eye sight, the haze affecting the enemy's vision fades as if the experience was a dream or mirage.
Passive 2: Clarity air. As the same applies to making the air around her altered, illusions and even natural events like fog and snow or other sources that hinder eyes sight allow her to have a clear unhindered view.
Overburst Color Pastel Orange
Overburst Attack: Bursting with Life Taking the sake cup, now over flowing with it's golden liquid, Suishoku turns about in a neat circle, pouring the sake around her. A circle of light appears below her and engulfs her in the pastel orange light. Bringing the cup to her lips, she sips the last of the drink and holds it out as a toast to enemies and foes alike. Meanwhile, within the area of half a mile around her, a network of vines grow rapidly thanks to the rejuvenating sake to grow and wrap about her victims on ground level. Rather than using up her energy to heal every last person on the field, her flowers that captured enemy targets become similar to iron maidens with thorns going within the petals and piecing just three inches within their skin will have their energy drained and fed to allies which are trapped temporary in black and white Amaryllis flowers. When releasing the enemy of their energy, they are reduced to mostly weakened skin and bone husks and the enlarged flowers around them wither away. As for allies, their flowers will eventually have the black replaced with red once their energy is delivered and transfused to them via the pollen before the flowers pop open in artful energetic vibes, having their 'guests' presented in regained health before they too slowly wither away.
<> Background <>
Support: Ginko Yuubae (57)
Jinbe Yuubae (54)
Hashigen Yuubae (89)
Fang (3)
History: A simple if not normal girl trying to get along through school, not cause trouble, and maybe find a good career to go into to help support her parents later when they have reached the age of retirement. Ginko works with text tiles while her father's side, Jinbe and Grandpa Hashigen, run a sake store while some of their products used in the local restaurants. Life has been that way since middle school and things have been looking fair without any trouble aside from Fang, their adopted ferret pet hating her to forever stay caged from the may times it tries to claw and bite at her.
Upon helping with her father's storage wares one summer, waiting for her high school results to come into the mail, an odd sake cup didn't seem to go with any of the other sets in the store. Once hanging onto it, there was a sort of familiarity to the item. "I think this belongs to me?" A confused graduated middle school girl wondered aloud. The sudden change and behavior of her Grand father however made her wish back then wasn't the greatest of times to pick up something strange. That perhaps her father or someone else picked it up and not her.
Out the window went a normal high school in her home town. In its place was, above all things a shrine visit to ask one of the mikos to ask the gods for a cloth bag to suppress what was then thought to be a demon's traits, led to the opposite once a letter of recommendation for her enrollment into Bugei Academy. The very thought of entering a military styled academy worried Suishoku greatly while her parents, while taking not of their daughter's unease, while reminded of the benefits of being selected and slotted into a job, even the retirement age from going into the service still leaves enough time to pursue other goals.
By fall, her enrollment was complete into her first year, there were still needed verification on the item in her possession was indeed one that resonates a spirit. The testing proved adequate results. While not being of a great spirit, it still counted within their records to further remain a student. Even then did staffers try to ease her worries with similar reasons as her parents had given her. The number one thing that stuck in her mind was, when her performance isn't up to standard then she may be let go. The thought seemed hopeful but clashed horribly with the events of the first year. The people, the missions, the fact these spirits and weapons, all things of paranoid danger made her want to quit. The worst part of it all, she continued to pass her classes. The frustration led to a rash and violent exchange with her roommate she got paired up with for the year.
The following morning, Suishoku snapped at her efforts of trying to fail. Bitterly did she wanted to hate her former roommate but at the same time, she didn't want to accept that their exchange was for the better. By spring and end of her first year, they kept their neutral distances as roommate while she went on to do what she should have done. Aim for those promises and get that desk job.
