For the sake of the club, at for just being told to by the main club leader, Suishoku walked up the stairwell to the second floor of the school for the Ceremony Club room. After finishing a small meal set at the school cafeteria, the girl walked with a set goal in mind by the time she arrived at the room and opened the sliding door. Her assignment by the club leader toward was to start taking inventory and record the condition of the materials, what more then need, that they're lacking, that sort of thing to keep everything up to date. All ready laid out on the floor, most likely by the leader or a teacher, was a white cloth to protect the tatami if anything were to spill and also provided an area to spread everything out, clean, and put back in proper order. You could say the club leader was just strict that way but one could guess it is to be expected. Clubs take up hours of your day when it's not about the classes and you have to meet every day for the club and even summer break. Could be why it was a huge pain to join them, having to always be there then get home late and waste summer break being there. After enrolling into the academy, clubs seemed more natural to join in now with living at the school and more time left in between classes and training, taking up a club for most people was an obvious choice if they're not training nuts. Maybe she should have quit the club and have spent the free time being in Osaka city more, but then her allowance would be shot for dining out too often to make up the lack of breakfast or breakfast AND another meal of the day. How scary and fattening.
Taking her notepad in hand with a pencil slipped behind her ear, Suishoku started to work on opening the storage closets lining along the wall. The first one being the tea ceremony supplies as she carefully took the wooden whisks, cups, tea boxes and the rest of the supplies to the cloth where she knelt to mark and jot down a page and a half's worth of notes. Even for just starting out after entering the room, the task was very absorbing to see everything there was about the club and what was supplied. Aside from flower arranging and tea ceremony, when representing their club to lure in new members, traditional song and dance performances were also apart of the club with several members required to learn the movements whenever someone was enrolled themselves into a mission. Jotting down a quick circle on the condition of a mixing bowl, she went on to store away the tea ceremony supplies before working on the next closet.
Upon opening the next closet, there inside were the items she was just thinking about. While they can't exactly keep the flower arrangements for long, they did save a few plastic made samples along with an art portfolio of pictures of past projects. Toward the bottom of the storage closet were a case storing a shamisen, a three string guitar to put it simply. As Suishoku removed the items, setting the folders and plastic ikebana samples to one side, she scratches her head in mild confusion of her memory check on the instruments. Laying on the cloth were only two drums, the one shamisen case, a handful of dance fans and two flutes. "Funny, thought there was at least one more shamisen and a few other instruments. Guess they were stored in here once the displays were removed..."
Sitting down on the edge of the cloth, Suishoku sighed lightly and started to check on the shamisen first of the instruments. She doesn't usually play it too often expect for a few simple songs but moderately enough for a stand-in. In silence, her keen eyes inspected the quality of of the material, case, and down to the pick while her head moved up and down the neck of the instrument as she strummed and turned the tuning peg to get it to the right pitch while also making sure the string before trying the scales and cords.

Akarui had refrained today from venturing out into the city and decided to stay low. After all, going out of the school grounds too much does draw attention to you when your presence is gone for awhile and people start to spread rumors. That's to say, Akarui had decided to stay low today to not get caught and now regrets it because she had nothing to do. Even though, she could have done some school work or club work but had already done so and was stuck with nothing but sight seeing around the school building. Especially, in the main building in which she had come across a club room.
It was especially the tea club's room that she had stopped in front of. Among all the other clubs that she had joined, the tea club was one of the ones that she didn't decide to join. Even though she could have join but refrained from doing so since she couldn't stand it. It's not like she loath the traditional ways of tea but it was how it just didn't fit her image of herself doing it. With that thought put aside, she suddenly heard a sound. It was a sound of an instrument - shamisen?
As Akarui knocked on the door, she excused herself and stepped in. While inside, she was surprised at the layout. Everything seemed to be so well protected that it will just break with just a touch. Then, reaching a corridor of club room, there it was...a shamisen and a girl. It was Suishoku Yuubae. "You can play?" Asked Akarui to the girl.

Suishoku's head shot up when the doors slid open, thinking it was the head of the club coming in to chest on the cleaning progress but her sharp plucking of the strings became less stoic of the sudden intrusion to see it was Akarui, as odd as it was. "You can play?", was her first question. Suishoku looked at the instrument then reached up to turn one of the pegs a fraction to get the right pitch. "A bit. Mostly another club member does it professionally but it's common for a few other club members to know enough to stand in. I'm one of the stand-ins."
Finishing her tuning of the shamisen, the girl noted a few scratch marks on the back before setting it down along with its pick, it was still odd to see Akarui unless in the unlikely of circumstances that she changed clubs to join the Ceremony Club. "Anyway, welcome to the Ceremony club room. The club leader has asked me to take inventory for the budget so just avoid the white cloth area, if you please." Storing the old instrument away, Suishoku got up to get her notebook to jot down a small note of possibly new pegs. "Can I help you with anything while you're here?" She then asked, oddly a bit more formal to her work than their previous encounters.

To Akarui's surprise, Suishoku Yuubae was really in a formal tone. Is it because the two of them have run into each other lots of times or was it because it was the Ceremony club room? Who knows but at this point Akarui felt like it was getting a bit tense. On the other hand, this situation wasn't too bad, since maybe, she could become friends with her? If that possibility was to come possible then it'd be a good thing.
"I see," replies Akarui. Now feeling a bit relaxed, Akarui relaxed herself. After all, it's not like she was gonna get bitten or something. "Ah, no...I just happened to pass by," answered Akarui. However, now something was on her mind and she just couldn't get it out of her head. So thinking for a few seconds if it was necessarily alright to ask the question or not, she went for it. "What drawn you to the Ceremony Club?" Asked Akarui seriously. It's not like she was going to use the information as a keep sake but it was just a general thing that she wanted to know. Out of all the clubs Akarui choosen, it was the ceremony one that she had denied to join in. So with Suishoku Yuubae, a member of the Ceremony Club, here, it was a good chance to ask her. This way, it might relieve some questions Akarui had personally.

Kai wondered for what felt like forever through the halls of the school. Being his first day he was lost naturally. He stumbled around the halls sweat drops rolling down his face as he starts to notice he is going in circles now. He ruffles his head slightly frustrated. Then he got hit by a idea. "I'll go to the main building and get a map!" He smiles to himself for the idea, he then sighs again laying his head on a wall. "Good Idea Kai....but where is the Main building..." Kai looks around at his surroundings and he thinks hard of ideas. Asking for help? No that wasn't going to help he could barely tell the school who he was and that he had come to enroll.
He ponders for a while wandering the hall way before hearing the sound of a Shamisen coming from a door near the end of the hall. He walks over to the room quietly and he peeks inside seeing two girls. He first impression is to blush, fearing he had stumbled into some forbidden place for men on the campus. He then calms himself down after seeing a few male students pass him by, they gave him strange looks due to his lack of uniform and carrying his Daito like his life depended on it. For all Kai knew it did. But the few cords he heard seem to calm him a bit. He closed his eyes relaxing for a few moments before the sound cut off and ended.

The girl carried on with her job of checking the other instruments of any serious wear and tear while being questioned further. She smiled lightly and nodded, Akarui not being the first of students to just pass by the club room to take a peek of their activities before moving on so none of that was a bother. As she left the instruments out, wondering if she could store all the musical aspects together in one closet, Suishoku paused and looked at Akarui with her next question. Thankfully, it was an easy one.
"Felt it to be less stressful, I suppose. Mostly joined here first to learn and make some flower arrangements. Shuffling around to learn the other parts of the club kept me around during the first year." Opening another closet, Suishoku visibly sighed to find the missing shamisen with some clothing props along with the craft papers for holidays. "That's where it was..." Taking the instrument out first, she took a moment to take an art folder from the cleaning cloth and handed it to Akarui. "Here are a few samples of the arrangements myself and the other members have made that were note worthy if you wish to browse through them. ours names are written under the photo. We use these for models or if anyone would like make a purchase if our club is doing some marketing."
Sitting back down on the tatami floor after handing Akarui the folder, Suishoku resumed inspecting the instrument as before. "Looks to be in okay condition," she muttered to herself in her tuning and plucking the strings. After playing a few notes and scales, her head looked up to her fellow student with a question of her own.
"So what clubs did you enter in?"

"Is that so," replied Akarui. As she didn't what else to say in return since conversations was not a thing of hers. Even though with practices of talking she never really got into the mood. However, when Suishoku Yuubae gave her a question about herself, it gave Akarui a bit of surprise. Since, normally she didn't get questioned and so answers with the following, "I'm in the Bugei Club, Chorus Club, Riding Club, and Sailing Club. And -"
Akarui came to a halt on her question when she felt a presence near by. She could feel that someone's eyes were on them. So either it could be an enemy of some sort or just someone passing by. However, with the intense feeling, there was no way it was just a random person passing by. And so to see who it was Akarui turned to face the person can called out to him or her. since, it is not like she could tell if it was a male or female counter part that was "peeping" on them that is. Or whatever it is that the person was doing. "I see we got a stalker," added Akarui with her arms now crossed. Even though she meant the word "stalker" as a joke. After all, Akarui didn't mean any harm by it, it was just so surprising to her that they had someone listening in on them. It's not like every day that she also experiences something like this when she's been careful and low on her persona. So that's why Akarui has her own suspicion.

Kai opened the door walking in avoiding their eyes and he bows to them respectfully. "Umm..s..sorry I was lost and I heard music..I didn't mean to intrude. I'm n..new here first day actually..." He said shyly and he points to his casual dress and he holds his Daito tightly. He studies the to girls, grays eyes measuring them up in his head. He looks around the room and at the various things laid about the floor. Tea sets, instruments, notes, he wondered if he had stumbled into someones room and he blinks. "I do hope I haven't caused any trouble for you too..." He mutters.
He straightens himself up and he looks at them both. "I..I am a bit lost. C...could you umm help me out...this building in confusing.." His voice shook with embarrassment. He looks up and he mentally hits himself. " S..S..sorry I never introduced myself. My Name is Kai Izuki I'm from the Ukita Clan." He bows respectfully to them again. "It's a pleasure to meet you ladies." He stand up straightening himself out and he clears his throat uncomfortably.

Her hands plucked the strings as a slower rate, reflecting her curious mind. There is a stalker? Her head when to Akarui first, the club room door second, when a fairly young man with a very modern looks about his face and hair style walked in. He bowed respectfully as he stumbled with his words to explain himself away from the stalker status. It led Suishoku to look at the shamisen and make an audible twang with the pick upon the idea of the club gaining more members by music and some artful dance when their flower and tea supplies are low.
Her playing became stoic as she plucked along, giving the room a timely air whilst Izuki-san gathered his courage to introduce himself. "Well, welcome to the Ceremony Club, Izuki-san. I am Suishoku Yuubae, second year. Are you looking for a certain room to have wandered up to the second floor?" As she looked at him from his daito then at his face. Her next question followed immediately. "Why are you not in uniform, first year Izuki-san?" It wasn't an odd thing for another transfer student to be added into the school year but it certainly did seem odd to Miss Yuubae for the first year to have wandered around lost out of uniform. Did the instructor show him to the Principal then left him alone?

Kai Izuki, one of the new students that transferred in late as well... Thought Akarui as she made out the so called stalker she had named him out of the blue for just a fun tease. He seems like just any normal student but on the other hand he was also wielding a weapon. So in the end, Kai Izuki was just like them - one of them. Now this became an interest to Akarui as she was curious to how strong he was and just what sorts of attacks and moves that he had. Since newer students don't usually have much information data added into the archives until much later on.
So how did he end up here though? Was it some sort of miscalculations that he had gotten from the school staffs. Or was he just exploring as well? No matter, these sorts of question would be answer or sooner anyway. "You just got here?" Asked Akarui. Since there was not much to really talk about with the guy. If he really just got here, as it sounded from his say, then he's must have had no one to lead him to the correct passage and building.

He nods to them both and he smiles a little as he listens to the music. " Y..Yes I was introduced to the principle but he had other business that called him away so I was left on my own." He blushes rubbing the back of his head. He nods over at the unnamed girl. "Maybe a hour ago if that. But yes it's my first day..." He sighs and he rests against the walls.
He looks over at Suishoku Yuubae. " Y...you play very well Second year Yuubae. Reminds me of me of home a very long time ago...It's nice to see old Instrument are not forgotten." He remains quiet for a few seconds listening the the music memories of his mother going through his mind before he snaps back to attention. " So..so the ceremony club...this does sound rather interesting.." HE thinks about joining and the possibility of new friends. He loosens his grip on the daito as he become more comfortable.

"Is that so. Change into uniform as soon as you can before the Inspector notices," Suishoku sighed inwardly as she struck one of the strings, plucking it four times for its sound then strummed all three and setting the instrument down. Once more she shuffled over to grab her notes and placed the shamisen next to the other one. "Minor wear...still good..." Looking at Akarui, she let her look through the photos and return the art folder to the binder at her own time.
"Do you plan on joining other clubs in the school? I'm sure Akarui could tell you a few," She questioned Izuki-san with her hand guided toward the other girl in the room, since Akarui has stated before to have joined several but did turn her head to her as well.

HOLD ON. If he's a transfer late-in student, then why on earth is he left wandering around the school? The staff should be taking care of this! However, busy they are that is if they don't want to lose any students of course. It's unbelievable and here to think that the school treated their students with great dignity - such nerve
As Suishoku Yuubae was giving the content about the idea of what to do to Kai Izuki, it seems that she was now apart of the conversation as Yuubae brought her in. Well, it's not like an usual time of day where students choose the amount of clubs that she did - especially since two of the ones she joined were a rival club. Before Akarui realized it, she hadn't even introduce her self...talk about bad manners.
"Akarui Tachimukau, 2nd year as well. And as Yuubae said, if interested I can let you on about the other clubs that I'm in. Anyway welcome to Bugei Academy."

He bows to her as well before standing back up moving his hair out of his eyes and he turns his gaze to Akarui. "Well....this club does sound nice..I did read about the track club...and kendo in a leaflet my father showed me." He says quietly but still loud enough to understand. "Tho, it would be nice to change out of these clothes and find my dorm..I hear dorms got switched around so I still have no idea of where to head. I'm not go with directions and the staff left in a hurry for some reason or another." He sits down respectfully placing his sword beside him easily within arms reach.
He turns back to Suishoku Yuubae. "Is there anyplace I can change close by I have a uniform....last thing I want is to cause any trouble on my account." He takes out the top to show he had it and he slides it back into his bag looking at the bag for a while thinking of the predicament he was in.

While Akarui was busy entertaining Izuki-san for awhile, Suishoku opened up the remaining closets and peeked inside. One of them turned out to be fairly empty so the girl tasked herself to shuffle the instruments away to somehow configure them all in one closet. As she moved back and forth from the cloth to the storage closets, she kept her ears open during their conversation. Once it was confirmed that the boy actually has his uniform on him, probably been wandering around lost before even thinking about changing somewhere, Suishoku sighed audibly as she pulled out a folding screen of five panels in size.
"Use this in the corner. Not sure how you got away without your uniform on so might as well put it on now." Carrying the panels with her, she set it up to cover the far right corner. "Speaking of the new living, did you get any notices, Akarui? It sounds like we'll be living more within the city. What do you think?" She asked in light of seeing if the ninja informant herself had some notes or two.
