Nobuyori fell down on the roof with a thud. Well, it would have been a thud but that would probably have cracked his skull open due to how hard the roof's surface was. Instead the thud was his bottom hitting his clan robe spread across the rooftop like a picnic blanket. Laying back on his robe and looking at the sparrows flying overhead he thought of the last time he relaxed like this on the roof.
he had fake blond hair, a kind of weak body build, and kind eyes. under his clan robe with the large Azai crest on the back of it was his normal school outfit. The robe under him was lined with what seemed an endless amount of paper talismans. Next to those robes was a thin naginata meant more for defense than attacking. Over all Nobu was a fairly average height, only five foot eight or so. Though it wasn't like he really needed to be tall to be an onymouji.
So far at the academy he had met several new friends, and even a rival who was apparently the reincarnation of Date Masamune. To top it all off tomorrow would be the day that the Shinsengumi finally arrived on campus. For now though, that was the next day. Before tomorrow Nobu just wanted a quiet few hours to relax and prepare for what was sure to be some strange events. As he looked over he could see the city of Osaka beyond the school gates. It was a busy city and even after almost two years he wasn't use to the city just yet. Though, it certainly was growing on him.

"You got beaten up again or something?" Came Suishoku's surprised and demeaning voice, looking down at the fallen Onmyoujin as she stood careful to not step on his blonde hair and robes. In actuality, she only just arrived in time to hear and see him fall over and her initial reaction was him possibly doing something stupid and summoning that paper lion again. Honestly she wished he didn't use it so often if it results in him passing out.
Giving him a once over did she notice that he didn't look roughed up in the slightly? Falling on the roof isn't the most comfortable of things to do. The second year sighed and pressed the knuckle of her index finer to her forehead and shook her head at him. There isn't anything so much distinguishing about the Japanese average height student sides a fairly large metal clover hair clip in her sandalwood brown hair and the small comments she gets of her soul piecing steel blue eyes. Honestly, she wanted to keep it that way and not be readily associated with the other sacred item wielders but at the same time that very plainness ordinary look may be just what gives her away for being in a military academy despite her efforts. What kind she was? That was mostly left a secret unless to those that actually went into the school records to get that info as her former dorm mate did earlier in the year.
"Who would have thought the moment I do find you back up here, you're laying on your back." She commented to herself while looking out at the city sky line. How many times has she kept checking the roof for him even when assigned to the same dorm? What was her own reason in doing so? Pondering on what the answer could have been, she shook her head and looked back her fellow building mate. The Shinsengumi were coming some time tomorrow, now with a given date since the President's speech, and it was obvious something was on his mind while her own was filled with self worried and the whole 'removing the cancer of the school' as the class prez put it. "This a new form of meditation, Nobu-kun?"

The speech given by the president was extremely troubling. It was none too pleasant news; the Shinsengumi were getting involved? Were such rash measures necessary? As a neutral party, she didn't quite support the Tokugawa nor the Toyotomi, but she was a person that preferred solutions to play out in a not-volatile manner. In this case, this was far from not-volatile. People were growing nervous about the coming events, and she was no exception. However, it was to her best interest to keep her composure and to not freak out. The last thing she wanted to do was give herself a panic attack. Instead, she advised herself that this would soon come to pass, and this would soon no longer be a threat. With such news, she decided that the best solution to cope with both the speech and the rumors was to find a place to relax. She decided that the rooftop would be an ideal place due to its castle-like setting and lack of people. ...She found herself mistaken on the lack of people part. Immediately she noticed there were two other individuals already there. The female made sure to straighten out her attire and she hastily marched up the rest of the stairs to reach the Japanese castle-like roof. Her pointy heeled boots clicked against the ground as she arrived. Her long red hair was out in its usual over-one-eye style, and her wardrobe consisted of the uniform blouse with a business skirt that matched the blue within the blouse and hit the knee while being form-fitting to her curves. She was notably tall in height; she was already tall at 5'10'', and her 3 inch heels added to that. As a result, she was a tower of a curvy woman that arrived in front of the duo. Her brown eyes focused on each of them as she spoke. "I see that I'm not alone here. Am I interrupting anything?" Her eyebrow raised at the guy laying on the roof with the female standing up. The third year couldn't help but be nosy about the current situation. A guy and a girl hanging out on the roof together alone? Something was up. Maybe not in the...um, "fun time" sense, but at least in another sense. That was enough to cause her to stand there and question them.

"Well, That's my luck.."
His mental thoughts entirely as he slowly came back to reality from a nap. The rooftop a school past time to get away from the body of the school and find ones self, or to skip a class you hate and catch up on some sleep from a late night of whatever...Of course more people would think like this in this school then normal. Considering the background of this place he was sure about the entire student body came up here once a day each to let out their own stress. For him however, he just wanted to skip out on some classes and rest..He didn't think he would sleep this long however. Finding three vices now within ears reach but it seemed they had yet to notice him, Maybe he could slip back into slumber land after all.
Eyes closing he began to try and drift back into dreams, There was too much going on for him to keep track of within this school. Everyone seemed to be bothered by some group coming tomorrow. Apparently they were famous back in times and the current group of their time held some weight in the name. As someone who doesn't have any alliances with anyone he couldn't give two shits about the group at all. The more busy the school got the easier it would be to get through such times here, Just on the first day he had a small conflict with some students that said enough about future involvement with others here. A small grunt escaped as he smacked his head lightly onto the rooftop's wall. Hiding at the back of where the stairwell's mouth was built, Why was he thinking so much on things when he was suppose to be going back to sleep.
Eyes opened halfway looking forward without a focus point at all. He wasn't trying to get deeply involved with anyone here yet he already started to forget his own problem and think about this schools issue. Its like 'She' said, he really did have a bleeding heart. no doubt the others up here would be thinking about their own issues and the schools as well. Honestly, This could of been the wrong move to make for his personal goals.

The fake blond had been almost certain he had the upper part of the school building to himself. As he had climbed up the stairs he didn't notice anyone directly behind him. Yet, like a ninja, here was Suishoku. In all honesty the sneaking felt more like something that the ninja girl who was always with Suishoku would do. Try as he might Nobuyori really couldn't seem to remember her name. Then again maybe Suishoku wasn't really sneaky at all, but instead it was just the fact that Nobu was being lazy.
"Is this some kind of new meditation?" she asked him. Nobu couldn't help but wonder if he could use his laying down position for meditation, though it really didn't seem very conducive for proper chakra flow.
Sitting up he looked up at Suishoku. It was amusing though, since even sitting up he was still pretty close to Suishoku. It wasn't as though either of them was very tall after all. Though as Nobu looked up at the girl, beginning to remove the sleep from his eyes, a strange woman he had never seen before walked up the stairs. She was a tall red head with heels and an umbrella. Nobu had never seen her before and she looked fairly intense glare wise. The woma talked of not being alone and Nobu looked at her.
"Is it really ok, for someone in third year robes to be skipping morning classes?" he asked her. It was true that as a clan head Nobu himself should have been in classes but the rigid structure of it all just didn't suit him well. On top of that it had never really been difficult for him to sneak in on test days and still pass his classes with at least somewhat acceptable grades. True it made him seem like a complete brat at times, but it was a life style that seemed to work for him. Sleeping during the day, sleep at night, show up for exams and make up classes.

Looking back down at him and waiting for his answer to at least explain himself a little, it was put on hold when his sleepy eyes left hers. Loud clacks of high heels echoed and came out of the stairwell as Suishoku stepped aside to find a very bold red headed woman has arrived on the roof with a umbrella in tow; her weapon maybe. Everything about her looked like a business heiress with noticeable curves that maybe have been good genes from the mother's side. Suishoku wouldn't be surprised the woman pulled a classy rapier out from said umbrella but that has yet to be seen.
From her brief words, guess this woman was hoping for alone time on the roof as well. Could it be meditation? There's really no where to hide except behind the stairwell's mouth so did she come here for the view? "The roof isn't private grounds," Suishoku sighed to herself while Nobuyori went on to question the third year on class skipping. "Way to call the kettle black," she quickly retorted, placing a hand over her mouth to muffle her chuckles. Though, his answer didn't really give the woman anything to go by so Suishoku answered for them both.
"Nothing disturbed. Is what you're doing going to take up the whole roof?"
Lowering her arms loosely to her sides, it is interesting to see different types of third years. First there was Jin all super training delivery guy, the scary rivalry at the speech that screams they could tear the school apart in their war games, and here we have the business type. Wonder if third year is where things really do change based on how serious all the third years she has met thus far.

As Mitsuru took a moment to survey the area, she began to hear light noises coming from behind the stairwell. It sounded like a light thud along with grunts or something of that nature. She hadn't the faintest clue what exactly it was, but she had that strange feeling that they were being eavesdropped upon by an unknown individual. In direct irony to her nosy nature, she became furious at the concept of this. Who would dare not introduce themselves to the group and choose to hide in the shadows and listen in on their discussion? Were they not fearful or caring of it possibly being a personal matter? She felt that the best remedy to this would be a call-out, but first she had to address those within her direct eye sight. Her eyes glared straight into the relaxing male like piercing daggers for his comment on cutting classes. "Excuse me? I think you should be speaking for yourself in this case. Attending classes is mandatory in order to ensure success and to get used to the idea of working within a scheduled time frame and being prompt for work and other events. How dare you suggest me of intentionally skipping out on morning classes..." However, knowing very well that she should have honestly been in a class right now rather than outside on the roof, she let out a sigh and her muscles relaxed as her mind processed the situation. "...is probably what I would normally say. However, with the circumstances now, I think everyone needs to take a breather at some point." Her senses were still bothering her about the idea of a person listening in on the conversation, so she began to step away from the two already on the roof and towards the back of the stairs, the only hiding place of which someone could be without giving him or herself away. The heels of the third year clicked against the cement as she held her umbrella concealing her weapon within her hand. The umbrella was held in a normal fashion as if it were a cane or something of that nature, but her stance seemed not only formal but somewhat hostile in its rigid march. "Even those whom decide to listen in and not reveal themselves!" The female turned the corner and found that she was right on at least one thing. There was a student right there, and it was someone whom she was familiar with. It was Mikamura! Her eyes narrowed a bit as she carefully observed his posture. She wasn't quite sure if he was pretending to sleep or if he had actually woken up. Her mind then realized that she hadn't properly addressed the female's statement. Her stance altered as she stayed standing next door to the back of the stairwell and kept her eyes focused on the only other female on the roof while watching Kenzo with her peripheral vision. "Do not worry. I only came here to take a glance at the view. I....decided to leave class for a few minutes so that I could come up here and process my thoughts for a bit. I won't need the whole rooftop for that." She cringed slightly at her line about exiting class. As a person that was all about education and preparation, she was not one to leave class out of nowhere to go to the rooftop. In her mind, it was a terrible act, yet she had did just that. Her family would be far from happy with her if they knew about this. Even if it was just once, the crime was still inexcusable. Her body shuffled uncomfortably a bit as she attempted to keep a proper stance. Her hand ran its fingers through her hair for a moment, going through the red bangs that seemingly half-blinded her. This allowed for a short glance at her other, completely normal eye before her hair draped over it once more.

"Just let me go back to sleep!"
He shot back towards her as he was found out quickly. Hiding from people in this school required you to be a Shinobi...No bullshit. As quickly as she had found him she had went back to speaking to the other two on the rooftop. A loud sigh escaped with him slowly rising up the wall of where he sat. Now standing straight up, he decided to just join them with their little chit chat then act like he was a ghost. Upon coming into the others view he found two new faces, Like that's anything new. Two females and two males on the roof of a school building. One would say that this was a rather common thing within a school. However being this school has a rep for fighting this could easily be seen as a soon to be encounter of steel.
With a gap between them and himself, he took a post at the door way of the exit. Pulling his zipper down from his hoody, How long had he be up here for? It felt like a oven. Bare chest now taking in the breeze from the roof. moving within to inside pockets to pull out another bottle of water. He really didn't have much to throw into their chat at this time seeing how the two had already knew one another. He could however do a quick character analysis on the three. he already had met the sporty ice cold tennis player. She was just a bundle of fun and disaster for people who didn't know her. The new guy looked about average in build, Seemed asif he didn't work out enough. Small frames do however grant good speed he supposed. Shrugging lightly at this he then turned his eyes to the other woman on the roof while taking the lid off his water. She was another ice cold type if we're judging by looks. Her personality could be something entirety different then what hes suggesting. Either way both girls were people to approach with caution unless you fancied getting stabbed by words or their swords.
"Why are two upper classmates, Make that three up here skipping anyway. Leave that to us new people you guys will be out soon."

Nobuyori looked at the group around him. Two women, and a giant, and all together four people who clearly didn't seem to care about their morning classes. No doubt all four of them would be hearing about their absence sooner or later, but right now it wasn't as though it really mattered right? Carefully Nobuyori reached over and under his spread out robe and pulled out a small box. Putting it down and sitting on his robe he opened the box. Inside it where several small pork buns and sweet rolls. Looking up at the other three he said "If we are going to be skipping classes we might as well enjoy ourselves. Morning classes wont be over for at least another hour or so, and this view of the city isn't going anywhere." Naturally the box containing the food was a black lacquered box with a golden crest of his family on top of the box. While it was admittedly far too flashy for Nobu's tastes, it did make it easy to identify anything that was his if his gear ever got stolen.
"My name is Azai Nobuyori. I'm the next head of the Azai clan of Oumi province. I know Suishoku here but as for the giant and....." Nobu couldn't help but look the third year up and down. She was a red head, and in heels. Though for a moment Nobu wondered how any student could do combat in shoes like that. "....you ms. third year, I'm afraid I don't really know. You all are free to eat the food, though I'm going to ask you not to touch my naginata, or sit on my robes. Thank you." Naturally he left the third year and the giant to get their own food, but handed a pork bun and sweet roll to Suishoku with what in Nobu's book would count as a smile of friendship but to most people would just be the same look Nobu usually had.

While the red head didn't answer Suishoku right away, she sighed and looked a little bothered to be partly ignored till it came to pass that it looks like the 3rd year has discovered someone where she first met Onmyoujin-san; behind the stair well. There was a snappy exchange between the red head and the unknown fourth member of the roof top till he then emerged from the obstructing stairwell only to hang around near the entrance. Suishoku's eyes widened to see him again, that same giant of a student some days before. Not wanting to keep staring, she quickly shifted her attention when their senpai finally addressed her. "That's good to know." Was all she replied and yet against better judgement the giant left her in confusion.
"--. Leave that to us new people you guys will be out soon."
"Just what does that even mean? He's actually a freshman or was that comment just being happy we'll graduate before him?" Stuck in her confusion and just about thinking of walking over to him to get it straight if that is what the giant meant, she paused when Nobu-kun introduced himself formally, as expected he would, and herself to the third year before taking out something she's never seen before. A rather cute bento box with his clan symbol on it (typical Nobu-kun) which possessed some wrapped buns in it in nearly perfect numbers for everyone present. Since when did he make his own lunch? Or did he buy them from somewhere on the way to school? No matter, can't ignore a kind gesture. That confusion can wait. Once handed the pork bun and sweet roll, Suishoku couldn't help but to smile back at him in thanks and sat down curtly next to his robes to eat. With this snack, she could cram in some study material and skip meals all the way till dinner time at home! Perfect, she cheered in her mind and started into her pork bun first with the sweet roll left in her lap.

The redhead couldn't help but smirk a bit as the tall guy yelled angrily at her. So Mikamura WAS sleeping up here. She felt a little bad for disturbing his rest, but felt less bad realizing that he was using morning classes as a time to sleep on the roof. She might not have been able to get on him for the uniform issue, but if she wanted, she could honestly lecture his ear off about skipping. Unfortunately in this scenario it would make her look like a hypocrite. Her body turned back to the now-awake first year as her brown eyes focused on him. "I'm sorry, I got a little paranoid there. What I should be asking YOU is why you're sleeping through your morning classes, but I guess I can let that go...for now." Her body was tempted to cringe a bit at the concept of herself skipping class. Mitsuru honestly wanted to strangle Azai for suggesting that this was a regular activity for her or that it was allowable. This was far from acceptable, and every moment she was pretty much beating herself up for getting into the situation of a group chat during a time where she needed to be in class. Her performance was most vital within her last year; this would be what helped make or break her when she would go off to college. Even so, she had to remain civilized and proper, so the most she did was light glares as her eyes moved towards the male. Her intense eyes then glanced over at his offering. The sweet rolls were quite tempting...no, she already ate and she couldn't afford to eat anymore. "No thank you. I am Kitaniji, Mitsuru." That was when Mikamura spoke once more. He made his own comments about the upperclassmen skipping out and pointed out that that should be left up to the freshmen rather than the seniors. Though tempted to crack a smile again, she glared him down instead due to her disapproval of such antics. After a few moments of projecting her disapproval at the male, she lightly sighed and her eyes soften as the female questioned his statement. Knowing the answer thanks to a previous encounter, she decided to inform the girl. "This giant is surprisingly a first year. He's in casual attire because the school has been having some trouble getting him a right sized uniform." She could honestly understand that logic because of his abnormal size. She herself was actually quite tall for a female, standing at 5'10'' and wearing 3 inch heels that caused her to break 6 feet. It did provide her with a bit of trouble in her first year when it came to her uniform, but the issues were quickly resolved probably thanks to her status and connections. Despite this, she couldn't help but question the first year on at least one thing. "Mikamura, at LEAST put a shirt on though. We don't need to consistently see your physique. You're going to make your fellow female classmates faint." Though stated in a completely serious tone, she was clearly cracking a joke. However, she would refuse to admit her own embarrassment about seeing his exposed torso. On their first meeting, she had a bit of trouble not blushing, but right now she had no problems whatsoever looking at him. She was starting to grow accustom to him it seemed, but she still couldn't help but think he had a pretty nice body. Actually, that begged one question: how well could he fight?

"Shirts are too much of a burden all they do is make me feel constricted all the time."
With that said he gave a small huff to follow. Watching as they indulged themselves in the other boy's food. He admitted he was rather hungry but not enough to take food from another person. With another huff he took his eyes off the food and moved to the other girl in their little chat who seemed as if she had a problem with his earlier statement. What was more messed up in this school was, All the women here had to look good, Was it something to do with all the fighters here having to keep their own looks in check as well? Do people avoid any chances of being scared at all!? it almost drove him to growl out loud.
More so on the fact that he himself was trying to fight off such urges to lung out at women before him. However here it was mroe in check being that everyone in this school had a possible chance to kill you if they wished. Or maybe he was just thinking too hard into it. Looking back at the boy and the girl they both seemed rather friendly with one another, Point being that it is possible to make the friendships and all that jazz, But only with people who you maybe share a similar interest with. If that was the truth, Then he truly was alone here and had to keep an eye on his backside at all times...Which was now sliding down to take a seat on the ground.
"So, Why are you people up here at this time, Heavy hearts, Or are you all just bored with class."

Nobuyori looked at the three. Obviously Suishoku took one of the meat buns but the other two seemed to decline the food. It was fine fro the girl not to, but Nobu couldn't help but feel the tall boy starring at his food before turning away from it. Such foolish pride seemed a waste when one was hungry, and it wasn't as though Nobu had planned on using his taking of the food against the boy later. "I can't imagine the teachers being too happy about your lack of a shirt." he said to the tall boy. "Also, don't be so ashamed of taking food, just eat the pork bun. Also, for that matter, you haven't even told me your name. What did this woman call you, Mikamura?" And with that Nobu tossed the tall kid a pork bun. It was't as though he had plenty more left in his case.
Looking at the female she introduced herself as Mitsuru. It was a pretty name to be sure, and the heels made her seem far taller than she probably actually was. Over all she didn't seem that terrible of a person but Nobu really had no intention of getting to know third years. Many of them seemed fairly stuck up most of the time, especially towards the two other grade levels.
As the question was asked of what they had all been doing up here Nobu yawned a bit and reclined back on his robes.
"I'm afraid I'm not a morning person." he said casually. At this time Nobu simply wished he had a parasol planted in the ground to shade his robes and himself. He would really look like this was his private spot then. Maybe a large banner of his clan crest hanging next to the stairwell entrance as well.

"Students can work with the staff to custom order. The school can't have its students unclothed," Suishoku spoke up after finishing the meat bun. "Never knew there would be two first years that would have uniform problems." Taking the sweet roll from her lap, she looked at it curiously of what sort of sweets it'll be while taking a bite and licking the insides to check for any filling.
So far, everyone fairly knew the reason they all showed up on the roof. Nobu being lazy, Mitsuru getting a breather, and Mikamaki tall giant guy being up here sleeping maybe long before anyone showed up. As Nobu fell back, she sighed and went on to finish her snack, it didn't take much to already guess him trying to make the roof his private spot again like before. He needs to give up and find another hiding spot.
"I'll be sure to make breakfast more energized for tomorrow," she shrugged at Onmyoujin-san and continued onward to answering the giant's question. "I do plan on going back to class in a bit. Just wanted to check on Mr. Clan head here since you left ahead of me. Anyway, what building are you all in?" Suishoku went on to ask, more specifically to the first year if he's gone as far as being similar to first year Kai for not having his uniform on him.

Mitsuru felt like she needed to quickly exit the vicinity and head to class before trouble was had here. She didn't feel comfortable allowing herself to skip potentially essential courses that would help her graduate with admirable grades. She wanted to show her determination and enthusiasm, not her potential for laziness. Laziness was intolerable. As the conversation continued, she found herself again desiring one of the sweet rolls. She was a sucker for sweets, but she was attempting to restrain herself because she couldn't afford to let herself fall into gluttony. She was an athlete, and she planned to stay that way. She wanted the best for her phys--Goddamnit, that was it. Letting out an exasperated sigh, she gave in to her temptations and lightly grabbed one of the sweet rolls. "To hell with it, I'll work it off later..." she grumbled under her breath. She took a bite and savored the flavor as it remained within her mouth. She chewed and waited for that bite to dissolve fully as the sensors on her tongue lit up. It was rather good. She was tempted to shove the rest inside her mouth, but she couldn't allow for such sloppy mannerisms. Instead she carefully bit the roll and ate it bit by bit carefully. After swallowing another bite, she began to speak once more. "You mean dorm building wise? I'm in C. And you have my commendations for this sweet roll. It's rather delicious." She continued eating the sweet roll as her eyes glanced over at Mikamura. He was seemingly uncomfortable within this situation for some reason. Her eyes observed him curiously as she tried coming up with explanations as to why this would be the case. Was he just not the social type? Were large groups intimidating to him? Was it due to the fact that he was the new person in a crowd of people that were obviously his senpai? However, to be fair, she didn't quite want to be here either. The situation was discomforting to her but for probably differing reasons. She tried to devise a way for her to leave in a polite and not abrupt manner. In the meantime, her eyes switched back to staring forward at no particular thing as she continued devouring the roll.
