<> Self <>
Personality:
Aya is fun-loving and energetic. She loves to talk to people, and to listen to them. She is a gifted listener, though many don’t think it can be a talent. Some might even say that she is wise beyond her years, but that’s only because she’s lived her life in a monastery. She enjoys people and giving sage advice, or…just having fun. She’s open to new experiences, whether that’s a new activity or new food. “Always try it once.” It’s a motto she lives up to.
Passionate. This is the best singular word that can describe Aya. She is singularly motivated by her passions, her likes and dislikes. Dancing and singing are the highest on that list. Fighting is up there too, however she will generally try to avoid a fight if at all possible. However, she is also hot-tempered. It’s easy to dig in under her skin, this doesn’t hurt her as much as just get her mad. The easiest way to do this…is to attack her beliefs. Although, this also a good way to get yourself hurt.
In essence…she is very much an embodiment of the fire element she wields.

Endurance: 5-mile run, no problem! 3 hour swim, sure! Parkour through the capital…see you on the other side!
Observant: She notices the little things. She loves watching people, how they move and act…and especially their body language. She can generally tell when someone is lying from their body language, or the little nuances of their fighting styles in combat.
Weaknesses:
Arachnaphobia: Ever wanted to watch a strong willed girl jump 4 feet in the air and cling to a chandalier? Yeah...just put a spider near Aya.
Temper: She is easily riled up, if one knows the right buttons to press.
Protective: Aya will drop everything to help someone, especially if their helpless. If that means throwing herself between them and an attack…so be it.
Out Spoken: If she thinks you’re wrong…she will say it. If she thinks you mean to harm innocents, she will stop you. If she thinks you’re dumb…you get the message.

Samurai Name: Oda, Nobunaga (unknown…to all)
Clan: Nobunaga
History:
Nobunaga is remembered in Japan as one of the most brutal figures of the Sengoku period and was recognized as one of Japan's greatest rulers. Nobunaga was the first of three unifiers during the Sengoku period. These unifiers were (in order) Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi (also called Hashiba Hideyoshi above) and Tokugawa Ieyasu. Oda Nobunaga was well on his way to the complete conquest and unification of Japan when Akechi Mitsuhide, one of his generals, forced Nobunaga into committing suicide in Honnō-ji in Kyoto. Akechi then proceeded to declare himself master over Nobunaga's domains, but was quickly defeated by Hideyoshi.
Sacred Item: Gold bangle, inlayed with several red jade stones.
Activate Ability 1:
Incandescent Salamander Stance: In this stance Aya is able to just heat herself or others around her. This effect works up to a 5 ft radius. This can also be directed on objects to heat them. This can be as moot as heating a tea kettle, or as useful as turning a sword cherry red.
Activate Ability 2:
Rising Dragon Stance: In this stance Aya emulates the dragons of mythology. She is able to add fire to her unarmed attacks, and to kick or throw it. (see Avatar)
Active Ability 2.5:
Vulcan Shock Ignition: A non-stance based ability. Aya merely raises her hand and creates a large fireball. She then throws it, a meager 30 feet at most.
Activate Ability 3:
Purifying Phoenix Stance: In this stance Aya takes on the form of a medic. She can create a blue flame to cover her hands that helps speed up the healing process. Or she may breath blue flames directly into someone’s mouth to help purge a toxin, or poison.
Passive 1:
Purity of Body: Poisons take twice as long to effect Aya, due to her lifestyle of pure bodily care.
Passive 2:
Ironwood Training: If someone spent their whole life punching the same tree...eventually your fists would be like iron. Aya has spent 16 years punching the same tree...her fists cause damage akin to hit with a metal bat.
Overburst Color: Flame Red
Overburst Attack:
Flames of the Ascendant: In this Overburst Attack, Aya is wrapped in flames and appears in every instance as an Elemental being of pure fire. The attack itself, stars with her jumping into the air. As she reaches the apex…she begins to spin extremely fast. Soon enough she begins pulling air in and creates a flaming vortex. This attack draws in all…and does not distinguish between friend or foe.

History:
Aya was born…somewhere, to some people. It was never found out to whom or where her actual place of birth was. She was found at the age of one, on the doorstep of a monastery in the capital, Kyoto. This monastery was a small one, located inside the city. Unlike, other monastic orders…the monks here tried to find enlightenment by helping those in need. Aya was taken in and raised in the monastery, quickly helping with chores and other small things when she was old enough. It was there that she learned how to fight, as the order practiced self defense.
They were not a silly ideological group, knowing full well that the world was filled with dangers. Often the monks were called on to play escort for prisoner transfers, or protection for witnesses. Aya took to her lessons, and excelled in her trainings. In all things she learned, that the current government was not enough. She understood the lower classes and their plights, and begrudged the Shogunate for their fates. Aya would spend hours outside the monastery, playing with children, or just helping people with their daily chores.
This is how she attained music. The order abstained from money, but not modern amenities. They did work…for the object they needed. Aya took this to heart and would eventually earn herself an mp3 player. This kicked off her habit of singing along. It wasn’t long before the Abbot of the order, found her voice to be…enthralling. He would set up little concerts for her, on the condition that she would put double the amount of time into her chores.
When she came of age, she was given a gift. A bangle that was left with her on the doorstep. What came next…was a heated spectacle. Aya felt a tremendous warmth overtake her, and drew upon it and her will to use it. Flames shot from her fist and feet as she began to practice the order’s martial arts. The Abbot was taken aback, and promised that he would send her somewhere to understand her gifts. Bugei Academy…was the only location, and her adventure would truly start there.
