Hair: The black bangs are swept to the side of her face and the rest of her shiny hair is held in a bun by her sacred item, an ancient golden comb.
Eyes: Dark grey that seems black in the shade
Build: Slender and wiry, but with nice, wide hips. Her bustsize is average.
Voice: Energetic and excited, (Chie Satonaka Persona 4 Vanilla)
Height: 1,61m (5'4")
Weight: 57kg (126lbs)
Clothing/appearance: She prefers dressing in tight clothing that doesn´t hinder movement, as she enjoys being active with her body. Despises Uniforms and dresses.
She modified her school uniform with a shortened skirt with long slits on the sides. Beneath that she wears black tights and small-heeled boots. Her Uniform jacket is usually left open or just hung over her shoulders.
Despite her pragmatic clothing style, she wears a lot of rings on her fingers, a total of 4 on her left, and a single one on her right thumb.
Inventory/accessories: Sweets, her steel-fan, a rope. She ALWAYS has a sturdy rope with her, as well as a small first aid kit.
<> Self <>
Personality: Michi is overall a cheery and energetic person, always interested, but never in the things her teachers want her to. She is very curious and adventurous, seeking excitement in the unknown and mystery. She loves being out and about and can usually be found outside, climbing, trekking, or simply wandering around in search for something new. Michi is what you might call a treasure hunter, as she loves pretty and/or rare items and collects curious trinkets and ancient objects. Her obsession with these things goes as far as interfering with her work or school, when she has her sights set on something she wants, she won´t give up until she has it.
One of her bad traits is that she is defiant. Following rules is just not her thing, especially from someone who deems themself superior. She questions authority and elitism by principle, and as such feels very out of place at Bugei Academy.
This also stems from her own independance and refusal to be pushed around. Michi prefers to stay out of conflicts and usually only follows her own interests, which means she kinda qualifies as neutral morality. In the political conflict of Japan, she doesn´t favour either side at this point, seeing flaws in both of their philosophies.
Despite her powers of deception, she hates controlling people and never puts on an act. She stays herself without the use of sultry or cutesy behaviour.
Likes: Exploring, traveling, animals, candy, money, music, mystery, dancing (wouldn´t be caught dead though)
Dislikes: fighting, hard labour, boys to a certain degree, rain
Ambitions/Goals: Get out and travel the world, escape the reigns of Society
Habits/Mannerisms: always has some sort of candy on her, usually nibbling away on one too. Her favourite are pocky and western lolipops.
Strengths:
Grace – Her movements are fluid, elegant and refined, even without trying.
Nimble – Her body is flexible and well-trained, allowing her to twist and move in ways that seem dangerous to others.
Intuition – Michi has great confidence in her so called gut-feeling and learned to listen to it whenever she gets the impression something may be wrong. She can gauge persons intent and situations well.
Weaknesses:
Curiosity – If something piques her interest, which happens easily with anything mysterious, shady or possibly exciting, she has the urge to follow that and find out more. Even if she knows it will bring her into a dangerous situation or threaten her goals.
Defiance – She questions authority by principle. During missions, she grinds her teeth and does what she´s told to, but as soon as she believes a different approach would serve the purpose better, she has no hesitations to branch off and do things her way. She ignores Class and Status as well, the only thing she respects is well-earned rank.
Pain-sensitive – Any wound inflicted to her causes her much more pain, distracts her, and additionally, she has trouble seeing her own blood.

<> Ancestor/Sacred item <>
Ancestor Name: Okuni of the Izumo Shrine
Clan: Independant, associated with the Izumo shrine
History: Okuni was a miko of the Izumo shrine where she was known for her beauty and elegance in dancing. As was usual at the time, she was sent traveling to raise funds for the shrine by doing sacred dances for money. Okuni started changing her performances to include innuendos and erotic insinuations, which made the shrine order her back, but she ignored the summoning and continued to travel. Eventually, she gathered homeless women and prostitutes, taught them how to act and dance and formed a wandering troupe of entertainers that became quite popular. It brought together all kinds of people to watch their shows because they did humorous, exaggerated skits about common people´s lives as well as historical and political performances. The success made rival troupes pop out all over the land, and this was the beginning of what today is known as Kabuki Theater.
Sacred Item:
An ancient comb made of gold, she wears it every day to keep her hair in place.
Activate Ability 1: Flash Step – Michi makes one incredibly fast step to a point within a small radius of her. This can be also used in a jump, but is always limited to the range of 2 meters.
Activate Ability 2:
Stage Tricks – Summons a small capsule for throwing that bursts open upon impact and unleashes an effect similar to one used in theater. It works like a toolbox with various modes. They consist of Smoke Bombs, Blinding Bombs, Sound bombs and fire crackers. She can only use one of these during one activation.
Smoke bomb: Emits a cloud of dark smoke covering an area in a small radius
Blinding bomb: Emits a sudden, bright flash that blinds people in a small radius
Sound bomb: Emits a single, loud bang that makes peoples ears in a small radius ring and unable to hear.
Firecracker: A regular, small rocket that shoots a few meters up into the air before exploding in a shower of sparks.
Activate Ability 3: Mie Transformation - She performs a single, powerful pose to assume a different persons´ appearance. Clothes are affected but any accessories like weapons do not have a physical form. The transformation is purely visual and wears off after a maximum of 5 post cycles, however if a significant amount of damage is inflicted upon her, it will break before that. Significant means: a wound from a weapon or a bruise from a punch; scratches from falling or a small cut in the hand from climbing are not enough.
Passive 1: Dancers Poise – Inherent balance allows her to stand firmly on her feet, even on unsafe ground or small space like a railing. It is harder to topple her over too.
Passive 2: Mask – The deceptive aura of her ancestor makes people who don´t know about this secret more inclined to believe her words and emotions. Small lies and shady claims seem to be sincere and heartfelt. Blatantly obvious lies like "The sky is green" are not subject to this effect.
Additionally, this aura amplifies any expressed emotion and allows her to influence others general mood as well. For example: She can use it to cheer up her teammates and give them a bit more confidence, or make an audience sad.
Why are these two effects combined in one skill? Because they are effectively the same: Whatever she expresses is stronger and more believable, affecting others perception of herself.
Overburst Color: The color of ancient gold
Overburst Attack: All Eyes On Me – Her ancestors spirit fills Michi, and for the duration of this skill, bestows upon her the illusion of a beautiful Mikos´ Yukata. Michi starts dancing in this attire, almost as if in Trance, and pulls the attention of everyone around her to herself. For the duration of 3 post cycles, people stop in their tracks to watch her, and everyone who can´t bring up the willpower to break away will be dizzy and confused afterwards.
<> Background <>
Support:
Suzume Kou – 15, brother
Suzume Ume – mother, housewife
Suzume Shouichi – father, farmer
History: Michi was always a very active and outgoing child, living in a rural town together with her parents and her younger brother, Kou. The two siblings had been polar opposites from the start. The weakly, scrawny Kou was fascinated with books about wars and the shining elite of the country, the strong and admirable Samurai. In comparison, Michi didn´t care for what went on outside of her own little world, and that consisted of staying outside until the stars came out and worry her mother to grey hairs, while she was out exploring and playing.
She was really a regular kid, a little lazy, a little cheeky, but overall friendly and sociable. Kou instead focused all of his time and work to one thing, becoming strong and a Samurai himself. Or at least a high ranking officer.
Their parents saw the carefree, aimless Michi, and the dedicated, strong-willed Kou, and promised to support Kou with everything they had. He was sent to tutoring and costly Kendo training, all for the purpose of fulfilling his dream. Michi was alright with that. She was proud of her little brothers ambition, and was fully prepared to just finish the basic education and then find a nice guy to marry (preferrably someone who traveled the world or such...).
But that whole dynamic was turned upside down when Michi found a ruin of some sort, in the forest a little farther from their hometown. Climbing in excitedly to unveil its secrets, the girl got her first major injury (a broken arm) and a shining, golden comb that... made her feel strange.
When she finally came home, got her scolding, and told her family what happened, she couldn´t understand Kou´s shocked face. Not caring for these things, she didn´t know about Sacred Items, but Kou, his eyes set on Bugei Academy, knew all to well. But if his sister was a Descendant, he was too! To his disappointment, the comb didn´t react to his touch at all.
Soon after, she was scouted by the Academy and went broken-hearted to live within its boundaries. Michi felt like a sparrow in a cage, and she would have gladly given her position to her brother, who had stopped talking to her.
One year of adjusting has made her more or less comfortable with life there, and Michi has found a deeper connection with her ancestor Okuni and the sacred comb. The relationship with her brother is still damaged though, and he tries to join the Academy on his own now.
