1:00 a.m. Shanghai Central Police Station As the light from a few passing cars flooded through the windows of Shanhai's central police building the overhead lights flickered on and off with an eerie buzzing noise. Two figures moved past row and row of interrogation rooms. One was a large man, a cop moved to the city from Beijing. About twelves years on the job under his belt Wei Jin had seen his fair share of odd crimes and even odder people. Dressed in his cop uniform, the bags under his eyes clearly stating witness to his long nights on the job. Next to him a man named who had just recently arrived in Shanghai from Tokyo. Mr. Hosokawa was a gruff, serious looking man that had moved to China a few years back in order to help with some translating as Japanese crime was on the rise. Now he was here in Shanghai to help interrogate a serious criminal. As the unlikely pair finally reached the cell they had been looking for. "I know he can speak Chinese, but all I ever get from him is Japanese." Wei said. "Don't worry officer, I'll handle it" Hosokawa responded. Inside the holding cell was a young punk. He couldn't have been older than 17 or 18. His clothes seemed expensive and his hair was colored a fake blond. "Whats your name?" Wei asked for Hosokawa's sake. "Go die." responded the boy in a heavy central Japanese accent. "See what I mean? This little bastard." Wei told Hosokawa as the blond boy gave them both a cocky smile. Seeing the grin Hoskoawa looked around the room. Fortunately he didn't see any cameras. Walking over Hosokawa back handed the boy's face causing the chair he was tied too to fall over. "He asked what your name was. Now speak up!" Hosokawa demanded in Japanese. Wei simply turned his head, pretending as though he had never seen it. Glaring up the blond boy spit at Hosokawa and replied "Nobuyori, you prick." and glared at him. In response Hosokawa kicked him in the ribs before setting his chair back up. Walking over Wei started in on the boy. "Listen, I know you understand Mandarin, and I know what you did. You, and a group of others robbed one of the top banks in the city. I know the life in the city is rough, especially for Japanese immigrants but that doesn't mean you can ju-""GO TO HELL! WHAT DO YOU KNOW!" Nobu shot back, this time in Chinese. "Look, we are trying to help you Nobuyori. If you don't tell us what happened, you are going to be executed along wtih your little friends once we find them!" Hosokawa said in fast Japanese, hoping Wei wouldn't understand. Glaring at them both Nobu spit on the ground next to him in protest. "Fine. Damn pigs. L-I-S-T-E-N CLOSELY YEAH?!" he said in painfully slow mandarin, in order to offend officer Wei. A wearhouse near the Bank of Beijing, Western Branch, 3:00 a.m. Sunday night, Shanghai China "Hurry the hell up!" Tenzen growled at Nobuyori. Tenzen was an older boy, probably young adult with slicked back green hair and firm eyes. As one of the heads of E.D.O. a crime syndicate formed by Japanese immigrants living in Shanghai he had little patience for people and even less when it came to cocky young kids like Nobuyori. "Hey, guns don't load themselves you know!" Nobu shot back. Rolling his eyes Tenzen grabbed two of the gun cases and threw them in the back of the armored truck. "Then assemble the weapons in the back, I'll drive. Now hurry up!" and with that he opened a small side safe in the wearhouse and took out a large silver handgun. Putting it in his coat pocket he looked around the building. "NOW WHERE IN THE HELL ARE THE OTHERS?!" he yelled, his voice echoing loudly.

"We can hear just fine," a young woman yawned with a hand over her eyes as she strolled through the warehouse from the other side of it. Her medium length hair pinned up into a tight bun with a dangling charm of green and white petals of kanzashi decoration with a gold clover emblem on it. A young woman came into the light with a less amused face but that usually doesn't last too long when poking around at the other members. Originally she was in a flattering Chinese dress but frequently changed out for a less 'red' dress. Limited wardrobe of china be damned, why does everything have to be RED all the time!? Oh well, makes the blood less noticeable anyway. For now, it was putting up with the long thigh slits, bust trims, and the odd decorative collar. This one she wore had outlines of golden spider lilies.
Her task was mostly taking inventory in these ungodly hours, among the other tasks shared around the members, but mainly it was running a tea house outlet elsewhere to acquire other small funds for the group. "Keep shouting and you're just asking for problems," she sighed at their leader Tenzen. Always in a bad mood and more so to cocky upstarts like Nobu but she's gotten her share of yelling like most others. Where was that other girl that usually kept the boss on a less pissy mood? Under her arms was a warm container of tea, a box of smoke grenades, while her other hand was her own cup to keep herself awake.
"Calm down a bit and save it for the real fire fights." With a bit of slight of hand, the cup she held became two while pouring Tenzen some oolong tea and offering it to him while continuing to hold her other cup. Slight of hand for gambling somehow became handy for other things like this but don't ask how she 'slight of hands' a tommy gun from her dress. Handing off the tea or taking it back, whichever the boss felt like doing, Suishoku went to peek over Nobu's shoulder as he loaded up the guns. "Still slow at that? Tsk tsk," she shook her head at him, taking a quick drink and refilling it, handing the young man the same cup she just drank from. She could help him but who wants an open invitation to get sniped from the boss?
"Anything else you need?"

Nobu sighed a bit in relief seeing Suishoku show up. He always tended to worry about her running a shop in a strange city but he'd never admit it. She was a tough chick and always able to take care of herself. Though truth be told Nobu still came by her shop probably a bit more than he should have to check on her. Every time he told Tenzen he going taking a smoke break or something the boss just sighed, rolled his eyes, and told the kid to get lost. As long as someone was checking up on Suishoku Tenzen didn't mind, but tonight, the moment Suishoku walked in Nobu dropped a case containing bullets for a machine gun and Tenzen jumped out of the van and glared right at him.
"I TOLD YOU TO PACK THE WEAPONS IN THE VAN NOT SPILL THEM EVERYWHERE! GET THE CASE CLOSED AND LETS GO ALREADY! DAMN!" Tenzen said, running his hands through his hair and eyeing the gun in his vest. He would never actually shoot the boy of course, good help that spoke Japanese was hard to find. This still didn't stop Tenzen from wanting to pistol whip Nobu around a bit. Deciding instead to take Suishoku up on her offer for free tea he took the tea and immediately used his other hand to check his wallet. Tenzen was a prude with money and didn't trust anyone. Especially not a slick talking woman who'd mastered slight of hand. Having personally told Suishoku to steal a wallet or two in the past, and watched her do it when they where kids, he knew damn well that not only did he need to check his wallet around her, but also that even if he did check his wallet it still might not stop her from taking his stuff. "Thanks.." was all he said. Drinking the tea to relax a bit he grabbed one of the bomb cases and laid it in the back of the van himself. Tenzen was shrewd, but that's also what made the guy an effective boss for the group.
As Nobu took the tea he smiled at Suishoku and took a sip from her cup. Picking up the last few bullets and putting them back in the box he set down the tea and loaded a few more boxes into the truck. "You really think we'll need this many weapons?" He asked a bit confused. The back of the truck was starting to look less like a robbery and more like the group planned to go to war. It was in this confusion that a small girl walked in, dressed in similar outfit to Suishoku and sighed. "You really weren't listening when we told you guys the report huh?" Said Yumiko, her biting sarcasm clearly in full swing in spite of it being so early in the morning. "We aren't the ones robbing the bank. Sui and I heard one of the local mobs is low on funds and going to be robbing it. About half way through we're going to intercept. So between us, the other mob, and the police, and bank security, yeah, obviously we need more guns." her extremely cute childish voice never matched her personality and made it hard to take threats from her seriously, but as Suisohku's mini-me Yumiko clearly picked up the girl's bluntness.
"Yumiko, stay behind at the base. If anything happens radio us. This time try not using the same frequency as the damn police...." rolling his eyes for probably the millionth times today Tenzen would never let go of the fact that during one of the first car thefts the group did Yumiko forgot she was still on police interception and let almost every cop in town know that the target was the northern car dealership. It was by some strange miracle that she didn't mention any group names. Though the fact she used nothing but Japanese durring the broadcast had created more than a few red flags among the local police. "Idiot." Nobu said.
With a sharp glare Yumiko flung some hot tea at his hand. Pulling his hand away quickly Nobu glared. "WELL YOU SHOULDN'T CALL YOUR FRIENDS IDIOTS!" Yumiko said. "SUI! DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR CHILD!" Nobu yelled

"I nearly forgot to be honest," she muttered into her cup while drinking. The girl, Yumiko, was like her number two and even trying to one up her at her own game but it's really only more fun when targets are close to you. In fact, she could have swipped the keys off of Tenzen easily when she first arrived half tired. While pinching the van keys just to see Tenzen's pissed face would have been priceless, she did have to keep some level of peace before taking on store duties. A few bullet shells still littered the warehouse floor despite Nobu's best efforts. Time is running short and even the rest of their little ragtag group was either sleeping or in a sniper's nest keeping watch. Makoto would be found up in the nest many a time for any suspicious activity near their base while Yumiko holds the floor with a few others. Speaking of which, they're taking their sweet time joining. At the rate these slugs are getting together, this little operation may have to run at a minimal crew.
She bent down slowly, plucking some of the stray bullets shells and tossed them back in its box and watch Nobu load of the vehicle. Resuming her drinking, it wasn't long till Yumiko's temper flared up. The girl is never going to live that moment down. Suishoku was keeping up her tea house front and nearly strangled the girl herself for forgetting the frequency. They had to lay low for awhile thanks to that mishap. Somewhere in the van should be a dent when one of the guys smacked it so hard while cursing. Likely Tenze's mark of several marks to dent the vehicle. In the middle of her reminiscing, her hand quickly shot out to grab for the flying tea cup. The contents were already spilled on Nobu as the two started one of their many fits. Peace sure doesn't last long and neither do these cups if Yumiko keeps picking them as her weapon choice. Darn things are a bit pricey as well if they have to delve into their newly acquired funds to keep up stock of the ones that firecracker keeps breaking.
"WELL YOU SHOULDN'T CALL YOUR FRIENDS IDIOTS!" Yumiko said. "SUI! DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR CHILD!" Nobu yelled.
Suishoku sighed as she rolled the cup in her hands delicately and served herself another bit of tea. Alcohol, she could stand but tea was much easier to keep drinking and fire her gun descently well. "Only if you're the father," she answered back at Nobu, pretending to not care much in the depth of her words before downing her tea in a single gulp. He is her best customers though from stopping by the shop so often, so maybe her words weren't too sharp this time. A minor jab at him might get him to focus a little on their task. "Try not to throw tea when the boys are near the supplies. These damn things are a pain when they're dirty," she lightly chided the girl.
Stacking up the cups neatly, she went over to Yumiko and patted the girl's shoulder. "Now calm down and keep your head down. Maybe with the extra funds from this we'll treat ourselfs to some clothes not in red for once," she spoke with encouragement and damnedest will for something less red for a change. Hoping the girl was content with this, she took this time to stretch her arms despite her attire and call over to Tenzen. "Okay, who else do I need to drag over here? You boys are going to be late."
