Clothing/appearance: Always one to follow the rules when in the spotlight, Ryo will dress as the school demand while at school, all the way down to a neatly ironed shirt. However when the bell goes and school ends, Ryo tends to wear ripped jeans, a variety of coloured novelty tank tops, and a pair of tinted aviator sunglasses. Furthermore he'll strap on various leather wristbands to his left arm.
Inventory/accessories: Wallet with a depressing amount of cash in it, a badly bashed up phone, keys (not many people know to what).
<> Self <>
Personality: At first glance Ryo would be considered as your generic high-schooler. Serious when it comes to work and revision. Relaxed and happy whenever on a break. He makes jokes, eats home-made bentos, has a handful of friends, just as any other high-schooler you picked out would have. However that is only the surface. Ryo is actually a very cunning individual, relentless when it comes to getting his own way, and unforgiving when it comes to those that get in his way. Sure he knows how to have a good time, and the way he avoids needless fights might make others think he is weak, or perhaps assume he isn't so much a fighter. Ryo's cunning doesn't end there, being able to think quick on his feet has helped him get out of more trouble than he would know what to do with
Likes: Ramen, Good Music, Walks, Training, Tattoos
Dislikes: Needless Violence, Obstacles, Vocal Arguments, Smoking, Rain
Ambitions/Goals: To be the strongest.
Habits/Mannerisms: Thinking out loud or otherwise generally rambling
Strengths:
Spearskills - Having trained from a very young age, Ryo is proficient with many different types of spear, ranging from a basic pointed stick, to the western halberd, to even the abnormally long spears of long forgotten clans. Though there is no doubt his ability resonates best with his favoured weapon - Sengoku's Spear.
Adaptability - The speed at which Ryo can move, combined with the speed at which he can think provides him with two very powerful tools that meld perfectly together. This allows him to quickly improvise on plans, change tactics mid-battle, and generally think of his feet aptly.
Charm - There is a strange charm about Ryo that fools weaker willed people into hanging on his every word. Whether it's his good looks and they're just infatuated with him, or the surface personality he has, Ryo's not sure, doesn't really care much either.
Weaknesses:
Stubborn - Whilst he has the ability to change tactics mid-battle, or adapt any plans he has easily, it doesn't mean he definitely will, and in fact due to his stubborn nature most of the time he won't. Instead Ryo chooses to follow the path he has chosen and roll with the punches. Some might see this as stubborn, but it's more of a testament to his stubborn nature.
Confrontational - If you get in the way, back-stab, or otherwise cross him, you can bet your bottom dollar Ryo will confront you about it. Furthermore you can be sure the confrontation will be extremely violent, and somewhere out of sight where no one else can get in the way. You definitely watch your back if you are stupid enough to get in his way.
Selfish - Ryo has no loyalty to anyone except himself and his Grandfather. His only concerns are himself and his position in the world. If he does choose to act when you're in need, chances are that wasn't out of the kindness of his heart. A debt is a powerful thing after all, and Ryo would like nothing more than to manipulate an owed favour.

<> Ancestor/Sacred item <>
Samurai Name: Sengoku Hidehisa
Clan: Toyotomi
History: Sengoku Hidehisa was a samurai of the Sengoku period and the Edo era. Hidehisa is generally described as a brave and skillful warrior in his early days with Hideyoshi; he was often at the front lines of the Oda clan's military operations. He also appears to take up some of Hideyoshi's charisma, as he was able to avoid getting himself killed despite ending up in situations that would normally bode poorly for most samurai several times.
Sacred Item: Sengoku's Necklace - a silver chain with a small silver symbol attached. The chain is long enough that the symbol dips below the collar of any shirt.
Activate Ability 1: Divide and Conquer: Sliding both hands closer to the butt of the spear, Ryo will await his enemies attack. At the point of attack, Ryo dodges, or parries the blows, every time the enemy attacks, the parries will be stronger causing the opponents weapons to be thrown further and further away, creating more opportunities for attack. Ryo can attack whenever, however the longer he holds the divide and conquer stance the more damage his eventual attack will do. Whilst holding the Divide and conquer stance, Ryo cannot attack, it is a purely defensive-counter technique, and thus the enemy would have more time to figure out his weaknesses. [Cool Down: 2 posts]
Activate Ability 2: Dragon Stance: Changing his stance with his weapon, Ryo places one hand on the butt of the spear, and the other hand halfway along the pole. From this stance Ryo can throw out attacks up to three times as fast as usual. At this speed the blade moves so fast it will glow red hot and cut straight through bone. The heat will cauterised any wounds however, meaning the opponent cannot bleed out. At this speed even the pole of the weapon can give opponents severe burns. [Duration: 2 posts] [Cool Down: 5 posts]
Activate Ability 3: Inferno of the Dead: A foot technique making use of Ryo's Reckless Assault Passive, once badly damaged and his speed and strength have increased, this ability becomes all the more dangerous. Moving with such speed that many struggle to even see him, Ryo encircles his opponent launching a relentless onslaught of attacks at the various vital points of his opponent, he can keep this technique up long enough to hit a maximum of four vital points (including stomach, liver, kidney, neck (if unguarded), spine, and various important veins), it therefore possible for this attack to be lethal. [Can use once per thread, any more and the strain can push his body over the edge causing paralysis from the waist down.]
Passive 1: Reckless Abandon: Through rigorous meditation, pain is only a theory to Ryo and he can fight through most pain, any incapacitating blows will still knock him out, they just won't hurt as much. This obviously has both advantages and disadvantages as any damage sustained in a fight goes generally unnoticed by Ryo until after the fight.
Passive 2: Reckless Assault: The more damaged Ryo becomes, the faster and more damaging his attacks become. The main disadvantages of Reckless Assault are his defence and caution to danger and damage decrease the more damage done to him, truly a double edged sword. [strength and speed can increase up to a maximum of x4 when on the verge of death]
Overburst Color: Blood Red
Overburst Attack: Hades Domain: An imaginary sphere of 20m radius surrounds Ryo, he can then launch a flurry of attacks at any one point in the sphere, or he could space out the attacks, at a stretch he could fill the entire sphere with attacks destroying everything except the space he stands on. The sphere moves as Ryo moves, with him at the centre, though the chance he actually needs to move to hit his foe is very slim. Due to the range of this attack it is dangerous to anyone in range, friend, foe, or innocent. Ryo vowed not to reveal this ability even if he was about to die, it would remain a secret until such a time as his Grandfather allowed him to use it.
<> Background <>
Support:
Father: Ran Off
Mother: Deceased
Grandfather: Alive (83)
History: Ryo's parents both disappeared from his life at a very early age, leaving his upbringing to his Grandfather. His father never wanted children, and so disappeared during Ryo's mothers pregnancy. His mother died during his birth, whether from heartbreak or some other medical complication that occurred during the birth, Ryo wasn't sure, and nor did he really want to know. His parents had abandoned him and that was all that really mattered. His Grandfather on the other hand was very much around, his stern look and strict teachings evident from the moment they returned home. "Stop crying you damn brat." He had later recalled saying to the infant Ryo.
Ryo was ordered always to refer to his grandfather as, Grandfather. At this time the man was still the master of a fairly large dojo with a good dozen students or more. Ryo's upbringing went in tandem with the dojo's, his training always came before studying, causing him to study even harder. Every night, while Ryo was still young enough to be read stories, his Grandfather would read him the tales of his ancestor Sengoku Hidehisa. As Ryo got older, he started reading the stories himself, thinking to himself how Sengoku could have been so much more, and yet settled into a life of servitude. It didn't seem right.
Getting into the high school he wished was easy considering his Grandfathers stature. It turned out he actually knew someone on the board. Not that Ryo needed that kind of help. He was a young ambitious kid, that worked hard and had been studying martial arts since he could walk. That was what he had assumed the school wanted from a student, and that is what he had been for them. Now he was in he could set things in motion, one step closer to his goal.
