Height: 5'4"
Weight: 115 lbs.
Casual Clothing/appearance: Stays to uniform code but causal clothes on holidays off from school trends from city style like slacks and a thrown on shirt or a decorative bell style hakama with clover leaves and flowers stitched to the hems and a simple decorative short sleeve checkered kimono top. Boots or tabi depending on season.
Combat Clothing/appearance: Her uniform requires her to be light with moderate protection of the limbs and chest area. Her leggings are closed leg hakama hiding much of her leg guard coming up to her knees showing just the boots at the end. A belt around her waist holding satchel bags for brief medical relief efforts, combative tools, small ammo boxes for her pistol, and a hook for her whip. The top being a kimono with chain mail underneath with the sleeves tied back showing her arm guards protecting from her knuckles just to her elbow. Protecting her exposed upper arms are two short brunt red pauldrons.
Inventory/accessories: Typically easy to notice for having clover flower and leaf styled hairpins decorating her hair. Standard wallet and phone and keychain holder (kubotan).
Personality: Due to first impressions leading to several misunderstands, she'll sigh often at her peer's choices and follow suit to be the 'distant' and 'not all there' sort of person around classmates. Around familiar classmates and established friends, she's a bit more open about her expressions and light concerns/complaints than making forgettable comments. Bearing a sleepy eyed expression, Suishoku is the hard working type in her own way to pull all nighters, sarcastic but never bitter. While her manners may be curt in line with her superiors (higher social standing students), she doesn't view high ranking students to be completely high ranking to bend over backwards to them. Just acting so to get by to move things along than get public ridicule as some upstart commoner. She really just wants to get along with everyone else and avoid any life threatening choices. She'd rather have someone else take over that responsibility. When it comes to fighting, she honestly wishes her opponent would fight someone else, never seeing herself as a worthy fighter even if her capabilities can ensure a win.
Likes: Good luck charms, hot soup, soft furry things that don't bite back, flowers, festivals.
Dislikes: Fang (family pet), reckless people, people who can't properly take care of themselves in appearance and health.
Ambitions/Goals: Living in the country side (like that's going to happen) or to be a descent nurse. Wouldn't mind being a vassal or some equivalent of one. Attempting her own business once all this Scion business is over is considered as well.
Habits/Mannerisms: Sarcastic in her vocal tone by default, sighing, and having to correct herself often to get her words across. Rubs her eyes a lot when bored, never tired. Tends to fix minor things in appearance like shirt collars or ties for the sake of looking out of place akin to setting ikabana arrangements.
Strengths:
- Observant: Of others, noting small details, something she thought to might as well do when beyond arm reach of other students.
- Dedication: Those all nighter work don't finish themselves before dawn ya know.
- Social Endurance: Tries to keep things peaceful, if not offer a descent distraction to take people's mind's off problems. Stands well to tasks and speaking with authority figures. Keeping her mind active keeps that paranoia at bay.
- Food: A tasty morsel is enough to distract her or get her to calm down. Mostly due to neglecting to eat or having to skip meals till dinner when other things are on her mind.
- Miscommunication: The moment something does not make any sense to her, her guard is easily dropped to spend it correcting herself or someone else to find a means of understanding. There is a time and place for everything and that saying has yet to apply to her.
- Paranoid: Once put under stress of being a physical hostage in Edo gets to her, she'll lock herself up in her room or just hide away for a day or two till calming down in bouts of low self-esteem. Technically she's very low on the social ladder to warrant notice but to forget her normal life to being trapped as a Scion has its rare moments of relapsing. Keeps herself sane with distractions to get by.

Sacred Item: A Sake Drinking Cup
Activate Ability 1: Heals wounds upon consumption but doesn't fully patch life threatening ones.
Activate Ability 2: The sake cup refills itself with a healing liquid that is good for one full drink. It boosts strength and evasion by but wears out over a span of 3 posts. First post is providing 3x base stats, second by 2x base stats, third is 1/2 X base stats (no rounding).
Activate Ability 3: The sake cup fills with a golden liquid this time when held. When the liquid is poured over a weapon, it gains a blessing to reinforce and strengthen its abilities, meaning the weapon is more likely to cut stone or metal if it can't normally do such feats without chipping the blade for 5 post uses of weapon. When poured over a body, the muscles are refined and strengthened instead for 5 duration posts.
Drinking this is prohibited as while the strength and refinement buffs do apply plus 100% heal, after the 5 duration posts there is a four post penalty of all senses shutting down temporarily, awaking on the 5th post in exchange for the 5 posts of power. Body shut down starts at the end of the 5th buff post and ends at the start of the first active post after the penalty.
Passive 1: Makes the air seem slow and dream like when focused on her like a drunken haze, making the sense of sight hardly reliable if she is of target attention. The more intense focus is one her, the harder it is to see her from the defensive haze. The haze is roughly half the size of a 8x8 tatami mat grid. If she drops out of eye sight, the haze affecting the enemy's vision fades as if the experience was a dream or mirage.
Passive 2: Clarity air. As the same applies to making the air around her altered, illusions and even natural events like fog and snow or other sources that hinder eyes sight allow her to have a clear unhindered view.
OverburstColor: Pastel Orange
Overburst Power: Bursting with Life Taking the sake cup, now over flowing with it's golden liquid, Suishoku turns about in a neat circle, pouring the sake around her. A circle of light appears below her and engulfs her in the pastel orange light. Bringing the cup to her lips, she sips the last of the drink and holds it out as a toast to enemies and foes alike. Meanwhile, within the area of half a mile around her, a network of vines grow rapidly thanks to the rejuvenating sake to grow and wrap about her victims on ground level grabbing by the ankles and coiling upward and blooming on the victims. Rather than using up her energy to heal every last person on the field, her flowers that captured enemy targets become similar to iron maidens with thorns piecing just three inches within their skin will have their energy drained and fed to allies which are trapped temporary in black and white Amaryllis flowers which had budded at their feet. When releasing the enemy of their energy, they are reduced to mostly weakened skin and bone husks and the enlarged flowers around them wither away. As for allies, their flowers will eventually have the black replaced with red dye of the enemy's blood and life support delivered and transfused to them via the pollen before the flowers pop open in artful energetic vibes, having their 'guests' presented in regained health before they too slowly wither away.
Support: Ginko Yuubae (57)
Jinbe Yuubae (54)
Hashigen Yuubae (89)
Fang (3)
History:A simple if not normal girl trying to get along through school, not cause trouble, and maybe find a good career to go into to help support her parents later when they have reached the age of retirement. Ginko works with text tiles while her father's side, Jinbe and Grandpa Hashigen, run a sake store while some of their products used in the local restaurants. Life has been that way since middle school and things have been looking fair without any trouble aside from Fang, their adopted ferret pet hating her to forever, staying caged from the many times it tries to claw and bite at her.
Upon helping with her father's storage wares over the summer, waiting for her high school results to come into the mail, an odd sake cup didn't seem to go with any of the other sets in the store. Once hanging onto it, there was a sort of familiarity to the item. "I think this belongs to me?" A confused graduated middle school girl wondered aloud. The sudden change and behavior of her Grandpa however made her wish back then wasn't the greatest of times to pick up something strange. That perhaps her father or someone else picked it up and not her.
Out the window went a normal high school in her home town. In its place was, above all things a shrine visit to ask one of the miko to ask the gods for a cloth bag to suppress what was then thought to be a demon's traits, led to the opposite once a letter of recommendation for her enrollment into Bugei Academy. The very thought of entering a military styled academy worried Suishoku greatly while her parents, while taking not of their daughter's unease, while reminded of the benefits of being selected and slotted into a job, even the retirement age from going into the service still leaves enough time to pursue other goals.
By fall, her enrollment was complete into her first year, there were still needed verification on the item in her possession was indeed one that resonates a spirit. The testing proved adequate results. While not being of a great spirit, it still counted within their records to further remain a student. Even then did staffers try to ease her worries with similar reasons as her parents had given her. The number one thing that stuck in her mind was, when her performance isn't up to standard then she may be let go. The thought seemed hopeful but clashed horribly with the events of the first year. The upperclassmen to lower class petty issues within the school among students, the risky missions with hasty senior point men, the fact these spirits and weapons; all things of paranoid danger made her want to quit. The worst part of it all, she continued to pass her classes and supply her small security role in missions.
Having her own bouts of what to really do with her life caused her to hide out on the school roof one day for air. It was by chance did she encounter one of the many reclusive noble house students. The one from the Azai family, Nobuyori, gave her stressful concerns a back seat to adopting toward the new school better. He didn't act overtly violent like the other noble students, still a stuck up brat of course, but at the same time, something about his attitude didn't click with the causes of her stress. An exchange of sarcastic banter ended up with an exhausted Suishoku admitting that everyone acting the way they are now "...just isn't worth being what they are; students". It was because of these reasons that she started to realize that maybe fretting about the status weight throwing game really had nothing to do with her. She's only from a humble origin, barely a blip on any political radar. Somehow or another did the pretentious acts began to subside to focusing on the real school life. It also helped how the similarities in their defensive preferences and healing caused their encounters early on with the medical division made it easier to become better acquainted as fellow students to forming a companionship based off that both on and off field exercises and missions causing to two to look out for each other and the fellow classmates surrounding them.
By the start of second year at the school, her paranoid emotions have been kept under wraps for now in knowing there are people she can count on during the haphazard events that dragged her kicking along the way.
