School Clubs: Bugei Club, Martial Arts Club
Dorm: (This will be filled out by the admin after approval)
Weapon: Shovel lance (Tonbogiri)
<> Look <>
Hair: Colorless, so white-grey blond-ish, straight and about waist long, she usually wears it tied up, held together by a comb, needles or… a sheath with bands.
Eyes: Red eye color, toned lenses which turn them essentially into a pale brown.
Build: Very athletic and quite buxom
Voice: Relatively deep pitched
Height: 6’7’’
Weight: 220 lbs
Casual Clothing/appearance: Her casual attire consists of a relatively simple sailor-suit top, which she either wears lose, or ties together below her chest to keep it from fluttering around. In addition to that she tends to wear heavy boots, occasionally sandals, stockings and a fundoshi with an emblem bearing loin-cloth that fits the relative color of her top.
Combat Clothing/appearance: Almost the same as her casual attire, with the exception of a forearm protector. In this particular case her top is just outright cut and tied to sit tight around the chest. The tactical fundoshi remains, as it is the essence of a warrior’s attire (to her) whereas she always wears heavy boots when in combat.
Inventory/accessories: She does have a wallet, but nobody knows where she keeps it. It just appears, whenever it’s needed. She also owns a cell-phone but god forbid if she knows where it is, much less what the number is. Yui also owns several bottles of sun blocker and usually applies it before leaving the house. However, she does tend to forget about both applying it, as well as taking the bottles with her should she go on a trip.
<> Self <>
Personality: Yui is a person of immeasurable pride. In essence, she possesses an ego so immense that she would outright deny the existence of insults directed at her, simply devaluing any statements to the contrary, by overhearing or redirecting them. This corresponds majorly with her solipsist world-view wherein she considers herself to be the dreamer of this world, impossible to kill or to stop. In this sense, if she were to die, she thinks, she’d simply wake up from her dream. Needless to say, she is hard to argue with or against, mostly because she can just outright deny that you even said something, giving you an explicit explanation as to why she is absolutely right, knowing what you said, despite you having said it. She also has a tendency to randomly come up with completely nonsensical and fictional rituals tied to being a warrior, most notably reflected by her rule that warriors of any respect must wear fundoshi as their sole bottom clothing, else they lose their honor. She does accept thongs as substitutes though, if absolutely necessary. In much the same way she is extremely air-headed, constantly ignoring her surroundings, unless immediately affected by them. She is also incredibly lazy, tends to clip her speech and can be a bit of a klutz when she does not pay attention. Altogether she tends to completely ignore differences, generalizing beyond comprehension. She would for example refer to a wolf as a dog, simply because both are canines. In much the same way she has no regard for gender differences, or ethical discrepancies. She’d eat just about anything, as long as it’s edible, regardless of its origin, complexion or current state, or use the men’s bathroom unless told not to. This does reflect in her attire as she simply has no shame or very specific sense of style, whatsoever.
Likes: She likes to eat, sleep, train, come up with ridiculous theories, comparisons or rules. Yui also greatly enjoys bathing, in both water as well as the sun, which tends to conflict with her albinism, leaving her lobster red from the small of her back down at times. She also has a certain fable for singing, competing with others and baking pastries, although the latter is mostly tied to her love for eating.
Dislikes: Humiliation, although that is much easier said than done as it is quite hard to humiliate her. Losing however would be among these situations, as it just embarrasses her due to her boisterous nature. Generally being rendered weak just puts her in a foul, whiney mood where she gets slightly depressed and would just like to disappear. Aside from that she hates preaching, especially in regards to food, as well as morals. She also possesses an instant berserk-button, which is damaging her fundoshi in any way, shape or form. That aside she absolutely despises having her chest complimented, as she counts it as literally the only part of her body whose form is not a result of her own harsh training.
Ambitions/Goals: Improving herself beyond perfection!
Habits/Mannerisms: She tends to make up stories, rules and doctrines. That aside she has a quirk about herself of having a completely emotionless mask… but then smirking or chuckling randomly when she has a funny thought. Other than that her strict refusal to wear anything other than a fundoshi or a thong for her bottom clothing, is probably a rather significant quirk. It has to be visible at the very least! Those aside her monotonous, clipped way of speaking and her typically immovable expression are definitely key-traits of hers.
Strengths:
Physical Strength: Yui is absurdly strong, she could easily carry one person in each arm, or lift up an entire motorcycle over her head if the need arises.
Adept Learner: Aside from that she is a rather quick learner actually, if she manages to put her mind to it.
Nerves of Steel: She possesses a blissful ignorance that gives her nerves of steel regardless of the situation.
Wall of Muscle: Also, running into her is pretty much like running into a concrete wall, it kind of hurts. Well unless you are like on… chest level. But that’s self explanatory.
Weaknesses:
Attention deficit disorder: She does have a tendency to just blend out her surroundings, making her attention drift off into... somewhere. As a result she can be a bit of a klutz, as she simply does not take notice of where she walks, or what gets in her way.
No common sense: In addition to that she has about as much common sense as a walnut and the self preservation instincts of a lemming.
Overconfident: That aside she is absolutely overconfident,
Sucks at sneaking: sucks at sneaking (duh) and will literally stand out even in the weirdest crowd.
Albinism: She is an albino, meaning she easily gets sun burns and has to wear toned contact lenses to protect her eyes from harm. Her tendency to forget about the former could also be seen as a weakness.

<> Sacred Item <>
Original Owner: Honda Tadakatsu
Clan: Tokugawa
History: He was one of Tokugawa’s Four heavenly Generals and was regarded as a samurai among samurai, even being mentioned as the best samurai in the entire east. In addition to that he is known for apparently never suffering a single injury in over 100 battles, giving him the sobriquet of the “Warrior who surpassed Death itself”.
Sacred Item: Tonbogiri Shovel Lance
Activate Ability 1: Blessing of the Kirin: Heals medium sized wounds, such as deeper stabs or gashes Yui received, over two rounds.
Activate Ability 2: Felling the firefly: A slash or thrust that uses the incredibly sharp and heavy blade of the shovel lance, to pierce or cut through any physical opposition, with raw physical power. In this particular instance, Yui will put her all into a single attack, effectively doubling the sheer power behind it. Even the mere pressure deriving from this attack could knock a person off their feet.
Activate Ability 3: Greater Blessing of the Kirin: This active ability allows Yui to heal major wounds she suffered within seconds, this includes life threatening wounds.
Passive 1: Lesser Blessing of the Kirin: This passive ability causes Yui to constantly regenerate taken damage, but this works rather slow, only regenerating very minor wounds such as bruises and shallow cuts spontaneously. (heals one minor wound per round)
Passive 2: Oni’s flesh: It essentially avails her body the durability of a log of metal. While her skin and outer flesh may part, getting through her muscles and sinews, would be like trying to cut through steel wire. The bones would just be even harder to break or cut through. It does not diminish the pain she recieves from the wounds she actually does suffer though.
Overburst Color: Vermillion
Overburst Attack: Oni’s Rampage: With this ability, Yui can just outright ignore any damage suffered for (3 rounds) a couple of minutes. This means if she had suffered even mortal injury and flipped this switch she could keep going as if she was in perfect health, being able to completely push her body past its limits. It thus increases her strength and speed, (one letter grade each) while she would not even realize injuries for the duration of the berserker rage. After the rage she falls unconscious though, regardless of her state.
<> Background <>
Support: Homura, Shiki: Her guardian and adoptive father. He is even more eccentric than her, being a self-declared exhibitionist who cares little about appearances and tends to greet guests by dressing up as an Oni and performing a fake ritual dance (Yui knows that dance too). At the same time he is the head of the Enryaku-ji sohei monastery and probably among the most renowned warrior monks of this age.
History:
The story of Yui’s life is an accumulation of many strange events. It starts with her parents as her father, a descendant of the warrior of old Benkei, fathered a child with a local prostitute while drunk. The thing is; he was over 80 years old at the time. Now as the story goes, the prostitute in question brought the child to the monastery, telling Yui’s father of that the child was his; which according to her adoptive father, promptly caused him to die from a heart attack. As a result Yui was taken in by the monastery, with the head essentially substituting her parents for all intents and purposes. The direct result of growing up as his daughter however, was a very, very eccentric young lady. Having been raised by a man who thought of her as the most precious thing in his life out of sheer principle, while being a clown who didn’t take himself serious unless absolutely necessary, and generally being the center of attention, due to being the only child in the monastery at the time, just made her grow up to be quite… confident.
Which Shiki figured, would cause a problem despite his best attempts at getting a rise out of her, such as turning off the hot water, stealing her clothes or similar things, in time. As one can imagine, at this point she didn’t even notice anymore. Her excellent use of the shovel lance, along with her impressive build further bolstered her confidence to absurd levels, as it availed her the sacred weapon passed down among the most promising fighters of the temple and if possible the descendants of Benkei. This development finally caused Shiki to decide that it was time for her to bet thrown into a different environment, where she would have to deal with obstacles very different from those in the monastery, such as people her age and teachers that may not be too fond of her. This, he hoped, should further improve her, as he clearly saw the descendant of Benkei within her (the massive build might have been a hint too though).
So while she had technically received private tutoring in the monastery, rendering her about equal to a first year by the end of the school year, Shiki thought that a change of schools and instructors would be only beneficial, if not to say life-saving for her. So she departed, leaving behind her adoptive father, as he drowned in manly tears, and also because he recently had crashed his vespa, to depart to unknown (well not really) lands. In any case, she did actually miss her adoptive father not too soon after departing, especially because she didn’t manage to get to school as intended, to announce her transfer beforehand, as she took the wrong train. In essence, it was only her letter of recommendation that actually allowed her to hold a position within the school, as her adoptive father’s influence, as well as her descent held some value. Needless to say, her first impression was not the best as she was promptly found sleeping on the roof of the dormitories. The long series of aptitude and entrance tests and exams that followed the upcoming weeks, she passed, mostly with flying colors, although some were a bit too close for comfort. Not that it mattered much to her, passed was passed, so she passed.
None the less, aside from minor mishaps here and there her time outside the monastery had not been that bad.
